My god Japan is a country that seems to absolutely master the art of detail. Those Totoro cream puffs looked amazing. I've been CRAVING shaved ice and curry buns like crazy lately, but am currently nowhere near either of them. I was so happy to see you get to devour them! Such a fun video.

Is Tokyo relatively easy to navigate if you don’t speak Japanese? I’d love to visit someday but want to make sure I can order food at restaurants, and find my way around the city
@eh87855 ай бұрын
definitely! I went in early january with minimal japanese knowledge and got around pretty easily (exceptions for places that are more hole in the wall or traditional, but even still i think google translate can help you out). Many public signs and menus have english on them (or at least images). You definitely need google maps or some form of navigation tho if you don’t have a guide!

I'm quickly learning to trust the algorithm, especially after watching your video. New sub here. I LOVE your energy and your bright, sunny personality that reaches out through the screen. You and your friend are so adorable! And you do such a wonderful job of describing the different foods. Appreciated the convenience store section at the end; I feelike I'm pretty familiar with them thanks to Mike Chen. 😄 The older I get, the more I want to visit Japan, which seems pretty close to the perfect country to me: it's so clean, everyone's so polite, the vending machines, the FOOD, and the attention to every detail that you don't find in the states. Anyway, thanks for doing what you do! ❤
