What to expect during a Myelogram at CDI

Well, no one is going to take the time if was the greatest event ever. That said, it is very uncomfortable, had one today, upper back is very sore. But, this an option because three MRI attempts failed, I'm too big, and too fidgety. This, inconvenient as it is, was the difference in seeing I do not need a more invasive procedure. These comments may be daunting, but don't let them sway you to only one side. Good health to all!

I had one done a month and it was excruciating. Worst test I have ever had done. The pain was so intense I actually jumped several times. When I went to do my CT scan my back seized up and I could barely move. I told my husband I'm never having this done again.

I had a myelogram done on September 11th. That's right...9/11/2001. 20 years later, it is still the worst day of my life. I was dry-heaving the entire procedure and they had to hold a bucket next to my face. I smoked a bunch of weed and took a Xanax before leaving my house to sedate myself...Huuuge mistake. I was so paranoid I thought the planes were flying through the hospital. You couldn't pay me enough to go through that again.

omg.. i had 3 over a period of time back in the 80s.. sitting in reverse on a plastic chair.. no technology like this.. last one my leg jumped up on its own and today i have nerve damage down side of my leg into my small toe (numbness) kept getting cramps afterwards for years.. especially at night.. mussel in my left leg keeps moving all the time.. when i brought this to the the attention of a my neurologists way back when he dismissed it as restless leg syndrome.. im on rivtrol now for years and years just to relax the mussel... thanks for video..

My mother was given a milogram that paralysed her and left her in constant agony.

I had one back in 1988 I was sat up when they put the needle in, horrendously painful, then I had to sit up in bed for 12 hours as the stuff would give you a bad head if you lay down, I had to stay in the hospital, I’m from England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Absolutely HORRIBLE PAIN!! Then they tell you to be still and don’t move. It’s the worst procedure EVER!! I’d rather have kidney stones!!
