Any advice for handling extreme anxiety for this appointment? Mine is just short of a week away and i often find myself doing research for hours on end and obsessing over all the "what ifs?". Im trying to focus on enjoying my first pregnancy to the best of my ability, and physical discomfort aside the anxiety is the main struggle.

I’m so sorry you’re experiencing so much anxiety! I would just remember that the odds are good that everything is fine 😊 I would also recommend drinking lots of water, reminding yourself to take deep breaths when you notice your mind spinning, and distract yourself as much as posible.

Is another ultrasound a routine thing to do in 8 weeks after the week 20 anatomical ultrasound? I was told everything is normal. However, I have to repeat the ultrasound in 2 months.

Many doctors suggest an ultrasound every 8-weeks or so, but that’s certainly not a must if no issues were detected at the 20-week scan and you don’t have any health issues.
