I forgot Whitehorse, ,strangely one of the most unaffordable markets in the country. Only Quebec City, Winnipeg, Regina and Edmonton are listed as affordable in Canada anymore. The Globalization of industry and the Financialization of the economy have destroyed our country. We are uncompetitive, we lag behind in productivity and innovation and we depend on foreign labor and investment to prop up our government, why do we expect that our Country should be wealthy? I just don't understand how cutting interest rates will help cure any of our systemic problems.

In macroeconomic policy, interest rate cuts are intended to stimulate domestic investment and economic growth by making capital or loanable funds cheaper so entrepreneurs and businesses can borrow more to engage more factors of production including labour which reduces unemployment and boost output.

You're going to see a start of the great Canadian mortgage defaults, starving families and you will see real desperation happening. Trudeau is to blame for everything wrong in this country. Interest rates going down..... meanwhile everything is skyrocketing in price, our young folks are doomed and better off getting education that allows them to move to the USA, that's the direction I'm pushing my children.

We Are in Unchartered Financial Waters! every day we encounter challenges that have become the new standard. Although we previously perceived it as a crisis, we now acknowledge it as the new normal and must adapt accordingly. Given the current economic difficulties that the country is experiencing in 2024, how can we enhance our earnings during this period of adjustment? I cannot let my $680,000 savings vanish after putting in so much effort to accumulate them..
