Your videos are so helpful. I have a question, I live in Texas and was told we need to look into sales tax and this part is very confusing to me and intimidating. Do you know anything about charging sales tax? Also I remember you mentioned a Facebook group that you were starting that is geared toward Etsy. I would love to be part of that group if possible . I totally need lots of community support to make this happen.

I’m probably doing some things wrong, However, I’ve been on the first and second page many times. Now I’m way at the back. I just reached 31 sales, and I opened my shop at the end of August 2020. I bought a photo box to have nice photos. I also notice some people are very picky, I charged shipping for so long and never made a sale. The second I increased my prices and turned on free shipping I got sales. Its silly, and doesn’t make sense how some people will pay for shipping on some shops and not on others.

I have just started a handmade business, selling body butters and natural deodorants. Atm i have 2 different scents across the 2 different products and I want to start an etsy shop but I've read that you should have atleast 20 products is that true? Any advice on how to start with only a couple of products?

I started with 5 and was able to make a sale a day after about a month! Of course having more products increases sales but you can definitely start with what you have now and focus on optimizing each listing. In my opinion, starting with too many listings can not only be overwhelming and costly, but also you might not be able to spend adequate time on each listing and really analyze what’s working and what’s not.
