The report said the 7.30 appointment time is purely for the convenience of the staff NOT the patients

Of course. The staff want to get out early

Listen, I have to be at north mid at 7:30am and if I have to wait, without any food and I find out my knee op is cancelled, I’m gonna eat my food in front of them. Update: my knee op got cancelled and ended up not eating the whole day 🙄

@danielledewitt17 ай бұрын
A normal hospital the only kind there is.

its all rubbish of course. Patients are made to wait from 7.30 maybe up to 3 pm fasting with no information and crowded admittance queues when you first arrive. A study showed patients suffered high anxiety being made to wait all time

What is your suggestion to mitigate this?

Gloria Bonita When I had my gallbladder removed I waited longer than that, they came to get me finally and I thought finally I’m going down, no, instead they left me in a corridor somewhere for ages not telling me anything, then eventually somebody decided to tell me why I was dumped there. Eventually went to theatre.
