The cable car goes up to Paradise Point. You have to use a vehicle to get up to Mountain Top. The Banana Daiquiris are epic!

Thanks Josh! Yeah man. We had a blast. Would definitely recommend. Look for flights through "Going" formally known as Scott's Cheap Flights for flight deals. Our only regret is not spending more time on St John which we agreed was the better of the two for our tastes

Thanks. We went over to the left to set up/film. It was a hike to get back for drinks though so I get why everyone sets up in the same spot. The beach is beautiful and the drinks are strong. Just wasn't our favorite beach on the island

Im sure someone has mentioned this in the comments somewhere but.. i know for sure you cant take a cable car to mountain top. You can only drive to get up there... Paradise Point above the cruise ship dock in Havensight is the only cable car ride back home.. that aside you guys have a awesome video.. i love your channel ❤

The 99 Steps, listed on old maps as Greater Tower Street, are one of the numerous stair-stepped streets in the island, which the Danish called frigangs. These steps connect the waterfront to hillside dwellings, which were quite popular during the Danish era. Between Hotel 1829 and Government House lies the foot of the famed step-street. The Danes began constructing the stairwell in the 1700s to ease navigation around the hilly island of St. Thomas. They used Danish-made bricks that were originally used as ships’ ballast before being repurposed as building materials. Although the stairway is popularly known as the 99 Steps, it comprises 103 steps, but you may be too out of breath to count if you ever visit the location. Today, it’s primarily a sightseeing delight. It offers an opportunity to enjoy walk tours that may entail visiting other historical landmarks such as the Emancipation Park, Fort Christian, and the St. Thomas Synagogue, which is the second oldest in the Western Hemisphere. A breathtaking view of the island also awaits you if you manage to climb the steps to the top.

Magen’s Bay is my namesake. It can be crowded, but it’s a beautiful, calm, horseshoe bay. I am biased, but it’s a special place for me and one of the best beaches anywhere.

I can understand the bias. The beach is beautiful and it's protected by it's shape so the water never felt too rough. You can see how magical it is when less people are there. It just became too popular I guess.

We rented through a company called Dexter's. Super nice. Completely opposite of the horror stories you've probably read looking for a rental company there. We even got a jeep and we booked super last min. Some kid hit us while parked and Dexter's took care of it.

Ah ok. That shot was with the drone yes. At the time we used the DJI Mavic 3. I use that for professional work, but for ease of travel I also picked up the DJI Mini 4 pro and the quality is just as good. We have a list of our gear on our website with links. Charlotte North Carolina and St Pete Florida are my favorites. I just think the skyline is Charlotte is one of the best in the country, and it's probably one of the cleanest cities I've ever been too. St Pete is just awesome and not overly crowded like other areas in Florida.

I use the DJI Mavic 3 because I do a lot of brand work and commercial flying, but if you're looking for a little more budget friendly drone that still has great capabilities the DJI Mavic Air 2 is probably the best drone on the market when factoring price. I'm looking to buy the DJI Mini 3 as it is really easy to travel with. I know I gave you three different options and a lot of information, but all three are really good depending on what your looking for. If you're doing a lot of traveling and worried about customs in different counties, then go with either the AIR 2s or the Mini 3.

Lived on St Thomas for more than 30 years. I think Megan's Bay is a over rated tourists trap and too expensive. There are so many better beaches that don't cost anything. Wish you could have seen Coki back in the 70's. No Coral World and only one little bar and snack shack at the end of the beach. A real local beach with no tourists. 🌴 Next time try Lindbergh Bay or Brewers Bay down by the Airport. Also Water Island has a beautiful beach and hotel to hang out at. Thanks for the nice video.

Our phones worked. Just spotting in some areas. A lot of the time we'd put in coordinates to a place and screenshot or download it when we were in a spot with good cell service

It's not the best. It won't be crowded, but that's also because it's right around the peak of hurricane season. December-May is probably the best time to be there. Good weather and less crowds from the cruises

yeah for 5-6 days. Pricey but avg there is anywhere from $500-$700 for the week. You can get a cheaper ride, but without 4x4 you're going to really struggle to get around. We also booked super late so lessons learned there

We used to steal cars and race across the island. I remember one day my grandmother was complaining to me that I had traveled more than 100 miles the night before in her car on that 13x3 mile island. I worked at Blackbeard's Castle for a while in the late 1980s, I rarely went down 99 steps to town to get lunch, because people used to hide in the bush and rob you. They finally cleared 99 steps out and made it hospitable to tourists putting in rails in like 1989 because and elderly couple got robbed and shoved down the stairs.
