Great update Alex. Alcudia beach is one of the most beautiful in Mallorca. When I booked Puerto Pollensa the price was the same as I paid last year. Thanks for bringing a bit if sunshine. Best wishes, John

You have to remember that prices in beach bars is driven the greed of the local councils charging very high rents. Plus mosquitos is the worst in Mallorca

I LOVE Mallorca! Desperate to return. Hoping to get a trip this year. Alcudia is lovely. I last stayed in the Roc Continental for 4 nights all inclusive which as just perfect for what me and hubby were looking for at the time. No children, great staff, nice apartment room, food and drink okay, cava on tap which was lovely around the pool. Nice pool btw. We always hire a little car to tour the island. Great family run steak house nearby (awesome chateaubriand) as well as a paella restaurant. Can't remember the names but both within walking distance of the hotel. Also, we enjoy walking the beach and getting a coffee at the end in the port marina with a beautiful peaceful view out to sea. Anyone who visits will have a great time!

Plenty of places to get a drink, rather than using the expensive beach bars Alex. Mallorca is still worth going too, for the sunshine and fantastic beaches and visits to the old towns. No need to spend a fortune unless you want to. Hey, nice weather at last Alex. Thanks 😂

Crystal clear water , very shallow too. Chuck a bit of bread into the sea around your feet and see the fish suddenly appear...the beach is brilliant also

I’m a lone traveller so am paying approximately £500 single person supplement already. Majorca was one of my favourite destinations, however, last year I noticed that prices had risen substantially. Now looking at holidays for 2025/2026 and prices have gone up yet again. I recently went to Tenerife (2024) and it cost me £2400. The same holiday this year is £2800-£3200!

Not been to Alcudia since 2008 when we went twice , firstly at the Alcudia beach hotel and then at the Mariner's club but since then we've been to Can Picafort and Cala Bona ( three times ) and this year we're staying in Santa Ponsa , we love Majorca

So looking forward to my next holiday Alex staying in Garden Saladina Hotel managed to get a week long stay with breakfast and a superior room for two costing 1300 pounds flying from Ireland i paid more last year for self catering great video as usual

I know the feeling! however me and my wife spent 3 days in Dawlish warren in october in a caravan and it cost us almost £1000! I admit we did eat out and drank but it equates to the same price abroad but without the weather. Hope you get away next year👍👍👍👍

Great information you put out to keep travelers safe and aware. Personally I would never go to a beach bar (too many tourists) ha ha. I prefer to visit bars where locals go after all you are in Mallorca. Thanks Alex.

Stayed at Condesa De Bahia , nice hotel reasonably priced but pool is unheated so at the same temperature as sea. Nice it leads right onto the beach. Mosquitoes not too bad but only wife got bitten so take some repellent and anthisan cream

Hello Alex! I wanted to know ( excuse my English! ) what was the new tourism law called "big brother law". According to one of your last videos, it is still not applied in the hotels of Mallorca. But, in your opinion, is it just temporarily suspended or is it likely to be applied soon? Because I searched all over the press on the net and I can find only articles quoting that hotel unions and travel agencies threatened a legal action. We booked our visits to Palma for the beginning of July 2025 and our travel agent (here in France) is absolutely not aware of this big brother law! Thank you very much for your answer, Alex! And know that we look at you every day! Thank you for making us dream every day!
