Thank you MIke and Eve. You have done a local boy proud, YdK, been living in Spain for the last couple of years and getting home sick in a good way while watching this video. I am planning to go back to see my rock, family and friends one day and I am boiling with expectation. You've mentioned the Captain, my buddy Juni. Next time you visit Curaçao you should go to BOASE, really expensive and luxurious; where I grew up. Scuba or Snorkeling is very nice there. and do not forget swimming with Dolphins at SeaQuarium at one of the only places recognised as a heaven for Dolphins; they are not captive but they keep coming back. Hopefully just like you will. Also a MUST is Klein Curaçao.🌞

Great video! You covered a lot! Westpunt has more beautiful beaches and free of charge than you mentinoned in your video. They are close to Piskado beach (Playa Kalki. Kleine Knip, Playa Lagun, Kenepa Grandi etc), with a beautiful crystal clear water and white sand. They are great for snorkeling and diving. Curaçao is amazing!

One thing you totally missed on Transport are the small vans. They are way better than local transport system..they drive almost same route and appear almost every 10 minutes. I used to take those for about 10 years. It's always fun hearing the locals talk

Man i remember staying at captain goodlofes place almost 20 yrs ago. It did not look like how it does on this video. I was way sampler... He was also less commercial, way more laid back. But this guy is a legend. I remember we went lobster hunting at night, 6 guys and only 1 torch. We jump in, and we jumped into a pool of seamosquitos. Picture this, your under water, almost pitch black and your stung like crazy... That Madness!?? Yet... The most pain was not that, on the way back, his engine broke. We meer to swim back the boat by hand in the dark... But it was fun, we stayed for the night, if I recall property. No payments... Daily those days are gone. Sort of i can understand, but sort of being local, i don't know why I pay Tourist prices

I am with you with the okra soup called Yambo in our local language. even though I am a local, I can't eat it, first because I am allergic to seafood and some people put shrimps in it, the second reason, the slimy just makes me want to vomit, it feels like your eating a big chunk of snot, euu, no! Mexico was a great idea. We hear it's very much open and as long as you allow club security to tape up your phone camera you can party behind closed doors :) Thank you for the raving review of our video. We had a great time producing it but hopefully future ones will take less time editing as this one had 471 scenes and took about 60 hours to edit.

We loved this informative video. We are leaving for Curacao in just a few days for a month and definitely want to experience the culture by staying in an Air B & B. After that, we will be going to Aruba. How does one fly in that transport plane to Aruba? We will have luggage with us as well. Very excited for you! :) The small plane has a luggage hold too but you take your luggage all the way to the plane and its loaded there and then by the crew. Small bags go inside with you. The flight is scenic (sit on the right to watch Curaçao from the air). Most of the authentic food was amazing (rice, beans, meats, fish). We chose to try the okra soup for kicks.
