Okay finally i found someone who might be able to help out so i am an international student and i have been accepted at a university in California they are a university that is not your conventional university they are different different including the curriculum extremely unique the good thing however is the financial aid is amazing i will graduate my undergraduate degree debt free now this university with their extremely unique curriculum i will not be able to cover my pre-med requirements ( at the end i will walk away with a liberal arts degree)but as unconventional as there curriculum may be it is difficult . Anyway moving on i would need to do a post bacc program everyone i have spoken to ( doctors in the US some international students themselves)have been very negative in telling me that basically i don't really stand any chances because most people that apply to these post bacc programs have done the premed requirements and many just didn't pass well i am stressed at the moment but this university with how unique it is and the insane amount of aid i am receiving even though i have a low gpa from high school just my( final transcript) is amazing but now am stressed am i really throwing away my future please advice if you can i do plan to use my holidays the summer and winter holidays to do mission trips volunteering etc etc i even when i was in high school my extra curricular activities were focused mainly on been of service to others e.g i was chairperson of the operation smile society at my school and we worked closely with the main operation smile organisation to raise money for these beautiful babies so they could get their smile fixed so doing it in university will not be a problem although at this point i feel like a headless chicken it is not nice to hear people telling you that you are making a mistake without even trying to help or advice me on how i can increase my chance of getting into this post baccalaureate program.sorry for the rant
