This is awesome!! Cool seeing what you brought, when I hiked that trail I wore vans, had a bed sheet as my sleeping bag and I had 1 bag of ancient grains from Costco as my food for a few days, I look back and wish I packed smarter, but still It was an amazing experience we had.

Thank you for the great tips. I have a couple questions if I may. Did you fly to kauai? I was wondering what camping equipment is not allowed on the plane. Were you able to pack the gas canister for your stove? Can I bring a knife with me?
@melodytaporco41333 жыл бұрын
I did not fly w my gear, I live on kauai. Don’t bring a gas can, you can buy that on island at Walmart. You can check a knife if you’re checking your bag, but not in a carry on. But either way to be safe you can buy that here on island too.

The Sawyer Squeeze will screw on a Smart Water bottle. Nice to have as backup if the bag breaks.

Yes I agree! Love that it universally fits water bottles and not just the bags

Mahalo for this great video. My husband and I just got permits for first week of Sept I love that you said Crawler’s Edge wasn’t as bad as you thought. That is what I worry about. Just gonna take it real slow.
