What to pack when flying with your Service Dog | SD & Handler edition

I love that you included the potty pads! I’m not going on a flight until October, but I already plan on bringing pads and a diaper for on the plane. Not because she’s not potty trained, but because it can provide relief to the plane company and to me that she won’t have an accident. I trust my dog enough not to have one, however we’ve only had one accident in our life( 2 years together) so far, and that was in a pet store, unvested. And even so that was my fault because I didn’t take her outside before hand, and I wasn’t listening to her warnings. But I will still have her wear a reusable diaper while on, and getting off the plane. This is also because on one of the forms I have to sign I have to confirm that I will bring something for my my dog to relieve itself on the plane in a sanitary manner, if absolutely needed.

Thanks I'm planning on getting a Service dog for my ADHD. But I'm not sure if I will. It just a guessing game right know. But I will know I'll need to know this stuff. Thank you for this great video!

I guess in some cases it can make you make you forget to eat/ drink the service could be a reminder for that? Also I good way to exercise?

There is no limit on how much dog food you can bring? I fly in three weeks and I have been searching for the answer 😂😂😂 😊

tip. you are allowed to pack a separate bag for your SD. their items don’t have to go into your carryon

True but some flights charge for more than one suitcase. The one I usually fly on usually lets one bag and one backpack.

Correct, all flights governed by the ACAA, regardless of the airline, are required to allow it because it's "medical equipment".
