As far as my knowledge is concerned it is the most relevant topics for international incoming students in this current time, September. Thank you for your nice video 📹and for thinking for the students fraternity.

I personally haven't moved to an other country for studies, but I have visited other countries for short term jobs, training and courses that have taken months. I have tried to travel like a business traveller would, traveling with only essential things. I wouldn't carry food or most other items around the world though airports. Anything heavier I have sent using logistics firms to and from hotels etc. I would try local food and would try to bring my own items with me. Trying to be very cheap in all situations makes travelling and life too difficult. It can also make you too narrow minded missing opportunities like even better or cheaper choices of food. New students don't always have to by new products or bring own. There are recycling groups where you can get perfectly good enough items cheaply of even for free...

Hello Janvi, I have to clarify one point. You mentioned bringing a knife. Can we bring it in our luggage? Will it not be a problem?
@PaarthsPopUpStudio2 жыл бұрын
Hi, do not keep it in the hand carry. Keep it in the main luggage.

Nice , Janvi, can I bring Rajma or beans
@PaarthsPopUpStudio3 жыл бұрын
Hi, yes but rajma is easily available here in Asian and African markets and doesn't cost much. And also canned ones in Finnish supermarkets.

Your suggestion of packing a rice cooker was interesting. It weights about 2 to 3 kg and isn't very expensive though you said it is more expensive and there is less selection in Finland. I would be curious to know what kind of cooker there is missing from the European or Finnish market? I also believe that the grounded electricity socket in Nepal and Finland are different. My cookers have grounded plugs. I would be worried about using adapters with such loads. They aren't all of such good quality and can become a hazard.
@PaarthsPopUpStudio3 жыл бұрын
I hardly find one or two types or brands in Clas ohlson and Prisma or Verkkokauppa here. Mine from Nepal is working fine in its 5th year now and it's not even 2 kg. One can get good Japanese and Indian brands in Nepal and that too way cheaper than here. But of course, it's always people's own choice and decisions, be it rice cooker or anything else.

@@PaarthsPopUpStudio so it's more question about marketing brands and not so much about what kinds of cookers you need?
@PaarthsPopUpStudio3 жыл бұрын
No, not about marketing brands but I just mean each product has a brand name.

My brother living in Finland paid my tuition fee and other fees. Should I need to apply for NOC or not? I haven't done any transactions from Nepal. Any suggestions
@PaarthsPopUpStudio2 жыл бұрын
You will need the NOC to exchange euros in cash n for bank draft later(for living cost). The officials at Nepal immigration point at the airport may ask you to show them the NOC.

Yes. NOC is needed for sending fees and for exchange of money.

Hi, I want to know if a student has to wait to get their resident card before moving to Finland? I learnt it takes almost 6 months before you can get it. Can you clarify how true this is?
@PaarthsPopUpStudio2 жыл бұрын
Hi, you need to apply for a residence permit first, the average processing time is 2 months. If you get a positive decision, a rp card will be mailed to the Finnish mission where you proved ur identification, and that takes a few weeks.

Hi. I got admission to samk but there is a mistake in the spelling of my name. My name is spelt Faisal but with them it spelt Faizal which is wrong. What can I use to solve this problem, can I use an affidavit? And also will It affect my visa? I am asking this because I have made my school fees payment already but they keep spelling my name as Faizal instead of Faisal
@PaarthsPopUpStudio3 жыл бұрын
Hi, contact you university as soon as possible and ask a new admission letter with a correct name. Even if you have submitted the letter to migri, submit the new one again and write an explanation letter to migri.
