Can put your kitchen utensils like knife, spoon and dish in check in bags
@pathwayuk
@pathwayuk 5 ай бұрын
Yes, you can pack kitchen utensils such as knives, spoons, and dishes in your check-in luggage when flying. However, keep in mind a few important considerations: Sharp Objects: Knives and other sharp objects should be securely wrapped to prevent injury to baggage handlers and inspectors. Ensure they are packed in a way that they won't cause damage to your belongings or the luggage itself. Fragile Items: Dishes and other fragile items should be well-protected with padding to prevent breakage during transit. Airline Regulations: Always check with your specific airline's regulations regarding packing kitchen utensils, as there may be variations in their policies. Safe travels!

Should on carry beddings are are they available in the house
@pathwayuk
@pathwayuk Жыл бұрын
It depends on where you stay when you arrive. Bedding will be available if you stay in a hotel, Airbnb, or with friends/family for the first few weeks when you arrive in the UK. Suppose you are moving into a rented apartment immediately after you arrive; you can buy bedding in-store or order online when you arrive.

Thank you for this video Ma Please is bread allowed? And can 200pounds last me for a month plus pending when I receive my first salary🙏
@pathwayuk
@pathwayuk 5 ай бұрын
Whether £200 can last you for a month in the UK depends mainly on your spending habits and location. Here are some general considerations: Accommodation: If your accommodation is already covered (such as staying with family or friends), this will reduce your expenses significantly. Food: Grocery shopping and cooking at home can be more economical than eating out. Budgeting wisely for groceries can help stretch your money. Transportation: Using public transport or walking instead of taking taxis can save money. Other Expenses: Consider additional expenses such as toiletries, phone bills, and leisure activities. Budgeting carefully and prioritising essentials until you receive your first salary is always a good idea.

Foe my skin i use olive oil,can i come with it?
@pathwayuk
@pathwayuk 5 ай бұрын
Yes, you can bring olive oil with you on an aeroplane, but some important considerations are depending on whether it will be in your carry-on or checked luggage: 1.Carry-On Luggage: To comply with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) liquids rule, the container must be 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) or smaller. All liquids must fit within a single quart-sized, transparent, resealable plastic bag. 2. Checked Luggage: You can bring larger quantities of olive oil in your checked luggage. Ensure the container is well-sealed to prevent leaks, and consider placing it in a plastic bag for extra protection. Be mindful of regulations specific to the airline you are flying with and the countries you travel to and from, as rules can vary.

Thanks for the tips, Domiciliary account! Is it my normal Nigeria account or am I to go open another account here before traveling?
@pathwayuk

You don't need to open another account before traveling abroad. A domiciliary account, popularly called a ‘Dom Account’, is any account type that is run in foreign currency. It could be a savings or a current account, but it is in every other currency but Naira.

Hi, I really appreciate your details. You are wonderful. Please how do you do your student visa and get married alongside, can you explain
@pathwayuk
@pathwayuk 5 ай бұрын
Thank you for the kind words! Navigating a student visa while planning to get married can be complex, but it's manageable with the correct information. Here's a step-by-step guide on how you can approach both processes: 1. Applying for a Student Visa Research and Choose a School Find an Institution: Research and choose a school recognised by the immigration authorities of the country where you plan to study. Admission: Apply for admission and get accepted. You will need an acceptance letter from the institution. Prepare for the Visa Application Documentation: Gather necessary documents, which typically include: - Valid passport - Acceptance letter from the educational institution - Proof of funds to support yourself (bank statements, scholarship letters, etc.) - Passport-sized photos - Completed visa application form - Payment of visa fees - Proof of language proficiency (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS) - Medical examination (if required) Visa Interview: Schedule and prepare for a visa interview, if required. Be ready to explain your study plans, intentions, and how you will support yourself. 2. Getting Married Timing and Planning Decide on Timing: Determine whether you want to get married before or after you obtain your student visa. Each option has different implications. Before Visa: If you marry before applying for your student visa, your spouse can simultaneously apply for a dependent visa. After Visa: If you marry after getting your student visa, your spouse can apply for a dependent visa separately. Legal Requirements Marriage Documentation: Ensure you have all the necessary documents for marriage, such as: - Valid passports for both parties - Birth certificates - Proof of termination of any previous marriages (if applicable) - Marriage license application forms - Witnesses (if required) Marriage Ceremony: Plan and conduct the marriage ceremony as per the legal requirements of the country you are in. 3. Applying for a Dependent Visa (if Married) Dependent Visa Application Eligibility: Check if your spouse is eligible for a dependent visa. Requirements vary by country but often include: - Proof of marriage (marriage certificate) - Proof of relationship (photos, communication records, etc.) - Financial requirements (proof you can support your spouse) Gather the necessary documents: - Marriage certificate - Your student visa and enrollment proof - Financial evidence showing you can support your spouse - Your spouse's passport and visa application form - Health insurance (if required) - Proof of accommodation Application Process: Submit the dependent visa application and all required documentation to the appropriate immigration office or embassy. This may involve an interview or additional checks. 4. Managing Both Processes Simultaneous Planning: When managing both processes simultaneously, keeping detailed records and staying organised is crucial. This helps ensure all necessary steps are completed without delay and that you can effectively manage both processes. Legal and Immigration Advice: Consider seeking advice from an immigration lawyer or advisor. They can provide specific guidance based on your circumstances and the country you are dealing with. In conclusion, successfully navigating a student visa and getting married involves careful planning and understanding the legal and immigration requirements of both processes. You can manage both effectively by gathering the proper documentation, adhering to these requirements, and seeking professional advice.

Can on carry supplement
@pathwayuk
@pathwayuk 5 ай бұрын
You can bring dietary supplements in your carry-on and checked luggage when air travel. Here are some guidelines to help you: 1. Carry-On Luggage: Pills and Capsules: You can carry these in unlimited quantities. It's good to keep them in their original packaging, but you can also use a pill organiser for added convenience and peace of mind. Liquids or Gels: If your supplements are liquid or gel, they must comply with the liquids rule. This rule states that each container must be 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) or smaller, and all such items must fit within a single quart-sized, transparent, resealable plastic bag. This means you can carry multiple small containers if they fit in the quart-sized bag. Remember, the quart-sized bag should be easily accessible for inspection at the security checkpoint. 2. Checked Luggage: Pills, Capsules, Liquids, or Gels: These items are not restricted in checked luggage, so you can carry larger quantities if necessary. Rest assured, they are safe and secure in your checked baggage. Just make sure they are well-sealed to prevent spills. General Tips Labelling: Keep supplements in their original containers to avoid confusion and ensure clear labelling. Documentation: If you have a large quantity or special supplement, a doctor’s note or prescription might be helpful, especially if travelling internationally. Special supplements could include those with controlled substances or those not commonly found in the destination country. Customs: Check the regulations of your destination country regarding importing supplements to avoid any issues at customs. Following these guidelines, you can safely and conveniently carry your dietary supplements on your trip.

Plss can I send necklace and brastlets wen coming for vacation
@pathwayuk
@pathwayuk 5 ай бұрын
Yes, you can bring necklaces and bracelets when travelling for vacation, either in your carry-on or checked luggage. Here are some tips to ensure their safe transport: 1. Carry-On Luggage: Security Screening: Your jewelry, especially if it's valuable, is best kept in your carry-on. It's typically allowed and won't cause issues during security screening, giving you peace of mind and control over your precious items. Packing: To prevent tangling and damage, Use a jewellery case or wrap each piece individually in soft cloth or bubble wrap. 2. Checked Luggage: Safety: While you can pack jewellery in your checked luggage, it's generally not recommended for valuable items due to the risk of loss or theft. Packing: If you are packing jewellery in checked luggage, it's crucial to secure it in a sturdy container and cushion it with soft materials like cloth or bubble wrap. This will help prevent damage from the jostling and shifting that can occur during transit. General Tips Inventory: Make a list or take photos of the jewellery you bring if you need to file a claim for lost or stolen items. Insurance: It's always a good idea to consider insuring your valuable jewelry. This will provide you with a safety net and peace of mind in case of loss or theft. Customs: Be aware of customs regulations in your destination country regarding the import of valuable items. If you're carrying items of significant value, you may need to declare them. By following these guidelines, you can ensure that your jewellery remains safe and secure during your travels. Remember, the goal is to enjoy your vacation without worrying about your valuables.
