Nice 'walkabout' there Chai,. Ubud looks like a great little town to visit with plenty to do and see and far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Bali. Man that fish story is true and an Aussie lady back in, it would appear 2014, ended up losing all five toes after infection from a disease called shewanella set in and they had to be amputated. There was though an issue with her feet from previous surgery back in 2005 which together with contaminated water in the fish tank contributed to the outcome so its an unusual story and the risk therefore likely minimal. Wow, notwithstanding, I've had a fish pedicure before and will think twice before doing it again for sure having read the article . 😎 Great work as always. Cheers champ 🍻🤩

Definitely! People say it has turned too busy but it’s just the traffic in my opinion. The rest of Bali is just incredible

I was in Ubud last May, i like the nature, the people the food and the vibe. During the day it was fine for me but in the evening it was crowded and there was too much traffic. But for sure a place to come back

the whole of bali has become tourism. Did you know that the problem in the local media is now being discussed, young Balinese people find it difficult to buy a house in Bali. because the high increase in land prices is not commensurate with their salaries.

That’s a big issue. Hopefully the wages can increase as well and the young Balinese can benefit more of the mass tourism coming in

@Chai_Travel I'm 52, started full-time traveller from age 18. I've travelled to 137 countries, lived in 14. This doesn't count the endless returns to certain countries. I've been spoilt but I do miss the days of travelling 35 years ago. Untouched beaches of South East Asia, hostels for $3 a night. Love your content, keep up the great work. Imagine that... 8 million people in the world really want to go to Bali before their died..at least once .. because traveller like you always tell about the beautiful Bali.... @@whysanjay3074 I've seen most of Indonesia and as far East as Raja Ampat. Not much left of Indonesia to explore. Yes, I miss the untouched Thai beaches with little to no tourism on them. Many had no electricity, bungalows on the beach and then the movie The Beach ruined it. That's what changed it for Thailand. Thai people even have changed because of mass tourism. Thai beame more money driven and not as friendly as before. Ever got on the bad side of a Thai person? This can be said the world over. Most of the world today with globalism, all starting to look and dress the same. I'm glad I've been travelling the world pretty much full-time for 34 years. But I started travelling as a child with my parents, my first unaccompanied flight was at age 7. Yes, the world was a better place to travel pre 911. We had freedom and untouched paradises. There is also far too many ugly tourists who come to these places and get sh!t faced, turning the places into a circus. I'm not being a egotist, I'm being a realist!

Harga tanah di bali menjadi sangat mahal, karna kedatangan banyak turis terutama di Ubud, Canggu, Uluwatu.dll..sekarang pulau lombok terutama Gili Trawangan,kuta Lombok,dan Labuan bajo semakin banyak pembangunan.harga tanah tiap tahun semakin naik, dan Tambah mahal 😢😢😢
