4 lessons to remember 1. God can see things I cant see (He understands the whole picture) so don't doubt His wisdom for how your life is turning out 2. God is good to me even when I’m cranky. In other words, even when I'm complaining and in the wrong, God has cared for me. 3. God is in control of every detail of my life. 4. Remember to focus on what will last. Don't get wrapped up in what doesn't really matter in life.

My dad passed away young. I thought Jesus would work a miracle and he would be saved. I can't believe I'm writing this. It's unbelievable. I have to live my whole life without him and I don't know how. Why did God let this happen? Why does he do miracles in some peoples lives and not others. How do I know my dad is okay and he's in heaven? God could have saved him I know he could have but why didn't he? I still have 100% faith that God CAN do anything, he has the ability, but I just feel like he WON'T. I know he hears my prayers but he just always says NO

Wow!!! Talk about a powerful message that I was truly meant to hear, today!! Past Rick was Spot-On about so many things that we should be focusing on, when things do go our way, instead of grumbling about them! My biggest takeaways were what he said about Resentment. "When you hold that deep resentment for someone that did you wrong, that person is going on living and enjoying their life without giving you a second thought." My wise mother told me that, many years ago, and it's so, so true. My other big takeaways were, Focus on thinking about something that will last -- the plant analogy. Add to that, If you're going to worry about something, worry about something that really matters ... not something that won't even cross your mind, a year from now. God Bless You, Pastor Rick!

The midpoint of this video really hit home about resenting God and running away from God. I was an undiagnosed manic depressive and always unhappy always sad and I blamed it on God and I ran away for 25 years and my life was in the toilet. Thank God for 12 step programs because that’s what brought me back to God Al-anon.

How I wish EVERYBODY/EVERYONE/EACHONE of us could literally watch this. The HATE we carry around smiling FAKE is a silent killer. Never EVER give your enemy's free rent in your BRAINS. Let it go and this World can be a nicer better calm place . Thanks Pastor Rick.

I am praying that God will bless those who destroyed me. I have always been happy for God to bless them. I just want God to love me back to wholeness, and sometimes I wonder if that is too much to ask. Long story short, never asked to be born, punished for being born, doing my best to choose life ...

Same, I forgot my prayer to God to guide me and not to let me work in an environment that is not His perfect will. When people reject us, He isn't the one rejecting us. He's just putting us where we are supposed to be every day of our lives. #prayersequalsmiracles

What a sermon from the Book of Jonah ! All glory to God for He is good to us even when our attitudes are wrong. May we remember to care more for stuff that matters and that is our relationship with Him and His Word : that we may endeavour to share it with those who don't yet know Him and to encourage those that know Him but their faith is wavering because of circumstances beyond their control. May His Word remain true in hearts for it lasts forever and not the circumstances around us. Thank you Lord for your Word and for the ministers who share it with us like Rev Warren, Rev. Munengi Mulandi, Bishop Calisto, Rev. Stanley Amukoa and very many others Lord from all Churches that believe in your Holy Word. Strengthen them each day as they lead their congregations that they may never fail to share the Gospel because of the storms in their lives. Amen.

Dear Pastor Rick.......I thank you for this, this is exactly what has happened in my life in the past six months (long story the short of it was that I got a false sense of stability without acknowledging God -- then I was thrown overboard and the great fish swallowed me), then I came across your messages i believe these message were God sent as I am sure I was going the wrong direction....now I thank God.... I am starting to change how my mind works (also one of your messages) I've begun praying more meaningful prayers and I have let go of all resentment. Things are slowly changing (in ways i am yet to understand) but I have a renewed confidence, trust and faith in God and I am closer to him ( now I need to get with a small group).....i am grateful to have come across your messages, I thank God for your life...and for your messages....i am one of many of your listeners from across the world....i humbly request you pray for me and all other people listening to your message.....May God bless you in Jesus name.............Amen

1- things aren't gonna go your way a lot in your life, so remember that God can see things we can't. Trust his wisdom. God is never late, we can never completely understand what He is doing. Don't doubt Him when you're going through hard times. 2-When I'm going through bad times I have to remember that God is good to me even when I'm cranky. God gave Jonas a plant to give him a break from the sun burn even though Jonas was acting wrongfully. He loves you regardless of how much of a jerk you act. 3- when things don't go as planned I remember that every detail is Under HIS control. Plans don't fail by accident. He knows what will happen. He is in control of absolutely everything. (Frustration, anger, depression, suicidal thoughts) are signs that you're angry at God, and that is not a good way to react to failure. "Disappointments are his appointments !!! God is God you're not ! Always trust His wisdom ! He cares for your confort even you don't deserve (almost always). He arranges a big circumstance (fish), to lead you to right scenario. He wants you to move so he manages to get your confort away under the correct time. He does that because He loves you. ""Great""" God uses great and small things to direct you. He is under control of everything. 4- remember to focus on that which will last.

This is very very much what happens these days. Society is divided by a sea of differences (political, ideological, cultural) and everyone resents everyone. Jesus must disgust our atitudes, because we tend to judge instead of be the light and show kindness and love towards everyone. Because we are different. Instead of acting humanly like Jonas did we must act like Jesus, no matter so hard it is to beat our evil nature.

Thank you Pastor Rick for this wonderful message great content as always. Glory to God. We forgive because we are forgiven not in order to be forgiven. That's a very important thing to bring up. Great points though. its just thats a misconception with the unforgiveness thing Jesus died on the cross for us after that it's like when Jesus said love God with are your heart soul and mind if we did that we wouldn't sin because remember He said that's the sum total of the law as well as love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus completed that for us the more we meditate and grow in the knowledge of His love and grace for us in our loves we will be transformed. But our salvation is completely based on the finished works of Christ. He was raised fo our justification. (Roman's 4:5)

When things dont go your way, have you thought that a/ you may have the right map to find your way b/ you have gone the wrong way from the beginning c/ you took a detour halfway thru. Solution - Seek ye the kingdom of God first then God will make sure all things will go your way. Jonah did not put the kingdom first but seek his ways first - hatred, prejudice, self centerness.
