What to see at Kuala Kangsar and Taiping! [MALAYSIA TRAVEL] • Food, Historical buildings

There's so much to see and visit in Taiping and Kuala Kangsar! It was my first time visiting both places and I really liked the historical buildings and sites, now made accessible to tourists.
Kuala Kangsar is the royal town of Perak, hence it holds many beautiful and elegant buildings from the past. I was only there for half a day which is not enough to see all the sights! Taiping on the other hand used to be a tin mining area, and is now a very peaceful and calm place. The Taiping Lake Gardens is really stunning to behold.

Nice video on KK and Taiping........ there's a lot in Ipoh places to visit,eat n parks too.....numerous waterfalls,rivers where one can camp......pity you missed so much! Do visit again and plan perhaps a one week trip there!cheers. 😁

May I ask... do you think Tai Ping is safe for solo female traveller ? Especially to walk at night like to pasar malam ? How to navigate around Tai Ping? By walk or should rent a car ?

Hi there! I think Taiping is relatively quiet compared to other towns....can't say for sure if it's safer but it's definitely less happening and quieter. To navigate around its easier with a car, and from the Taiping Lake Gardens to the shop lots area you can wake around.
