Does the product even matter? Isn't Amazon only about keeping ranking positions for keywords that have organic traffic. It doesn't matter if your competitors have better products if the customer never finds it. Doesn't your entire Amazon business go to zero the moment you lose rank for all your keywords?

Not sure if I get your thought process here. Haha of course the product matters. It’s the most important part. Picking a good product allows you to rank your product and then stick because customers want your product over everyone else’s. If that’s the case Amazon will continue to show people your product

@@TrevinPeterson Liquid death sold 100 million dollars of mineral water. Mineral water is almost free. The owner is simply a master of marketing. It seems like anyone can find success on Amazon with any product if they simply know how to market and brand the product better than your competition and execute the product better, regardless of the product. Even Junglescout proved this with the Pet Odor eliminator product. Value doesn't seem to be integrated into the A9 algorithm. Amazon only cares about who is driving revenue for them in the smallest unit time possible. They don't care what the product is because there is no internal metric for value. The only metrics are revenue, click through rates, and conversion rates.

Be aware of chinesse sellers, it happened to me so many times to produce a custom product in China and then the producer came with the same product at a better price. Even when I did custom bundles. Selling on Amazon is getting harder and harder, but nobody will tell you.
