Any saying/quote you are wanting to use, check websites like USPTO and you can type it in and it tells you if it is trademarked. You’d be surprised at some of the things people trademark!

I hate this on trend crap Etsy has become, Etsy used to be somewhere you went to find something unique. Now it's all the same stuff everyone jumps onto. Theres a trend for buying China made tatt to customise especially knitwear cheaply made that people buy to embroider childrens names on. That isn't hand made but making quick profit and money.

This is not to say trends are the ONLY thing you should sell, but a tip that can get your shop visible by what buyers are actively looking for. There is plenty of room to be creative and unique while still tapping into what people want. Trends don't have to be leopard print, flowers, and sweatshirts. They can be certain fonts to use, certain colors and patterns, etc that you can incorporate into your handmade items. That is how you find success- is by studying what buyers want and how you can make it uniquely yours.

I used to link my shop, and it messed with my conversion rate because so many people viewed my shop to be nosey but wouldn’t purchase. That messes with your conversion of sales. If you truly want to see my shop, you can search simplysalliesc into Etsy and you’ll see it.
