OK, almost everybody seems to say that they should start with missed-call text-back. And on paper, I LOVE it... however, every business owner I know, already has a phone number, and that number is on their business cards, on flyers, in local magazines and directories, on billboards, on their vehicles, on their GBP, FB, IG, YT, Yelp, etc, etc, etc. So, my question would be, if they have to get a new number just to use this... how are people going to FIND that number? You could change it on the GBP... but then you'd better make sure it is changed everywhere else, or there would be a mismatch, which can hurt their rankings on Google Maps. So, I don't mean to be obstinate, but this does not seem to make sense... unless I missing something.

I googled missed-call text-back and the company that came up in the results that offered the service was explaining the service: They set up conditional forwarding so that businesses can use their old number.
