I trust film analysts for whether or not a player is good, not talking heads. DJ played well enough to start in the playoffs with an actual scheme and chip help occasionally.

Mostly agree. Seth Keysor has pointed out that with Thuney at LT they protected him a lot - getting the ball out in under 3 seconds. With Humphries this last game, they hung him out to dry. I don't know that he can start in the playoffs, but I'll trust the decision if he does. And I'll trust Keysor and the other dedicated film analysts, and Mitch Schwartz for that matter, over Chadiha's gut and Petro's reliance on PFF. Sam I trust a little more, but I don't think he's breaking down film like Keysor and Dan Harms and the KCSN "KC Laboratory".

With all the injuries this season how can you question the depth, the bigger issue is that the was absolutely no fight or interest in this game.

The Chiefs selected Eric Fisher as #1 first round pick and he was atrocious initially but turned into a 2 time pro bowler. It takes time to develop a good left tackle. Kingsley may not be ready yet to have 31 teams throwing the kitchen sink at him.😊

The Chiefs have no Kingsley.. the Chiefs need no Kingsley. (just kidding I agree with you, I saw your username and couldn’t resist)

Soren has referenced PFF every single podcast since blowing up at Sam for referencing them

Also Bengals done nothing but disrespect the Chiefs since '21. Cant help but feel they wanted to give them no hope.

Really surprised they didn't touch on a couple of things... 1- in the Thuney vs Humphries conversation, not factoring in the point that going to Humphries would allow Thuney to replace Caliendo at guard which would be a massive upgrade and help the running game which has suffered since Caliendo has replaced Thuney because of his switch. 2-in the CB discussion, they never mentioned the return of Jaylen Watson...at all... Which is MASSIVE. Just a couple of huge factors completely missed by the guys during this pod🤷🏻♂️

Ya know Jeff, all those teams with the depth and something to play for in week 17 that you prize have zero Lombardi's (including the Eagles in their current configuration). KC got to play a game in week 17 that meant nothing...nada...but there is always a reason for you to not give them props. The luckiest, cheapest yet overpaying, franchise in the NFL.

Yes the chiefs didn’t give the effort they should have. But Jeff is crazy if he thinks that the coaches could not have put them in a way better position to compete if they really wanted too. They clearly didn’t care about this game.

....Chiefs have had to utilize depth all year. Rice, Brown, Pacheco, LT1, LT2, Watson, multiple TEs all go down or straight benched. To act like Chiefs have NO depth just because all they played were depth players for a game... just stupid. Yall gotta be better, or you're no better than your opinions on Chiefs depth.

There's a likelihood that they'll be playing the Broncos again the next game they play. Why give them anything at all to game plan for?

#44 Jones should never play LB again. He did not look interested in playing at all.
