Jesus. I tapped out at 17 minutes. Sam just listing movie titles and episode titles over and over with no new take on the joke. There are a lot of Marvel shows WE GET IT. Sam could be replaced by any average "class clown" type. Someone who's slightly funnier than your average person but nowhere near as funny as they think they are. He's good at prep, feeding the occasional line, and leading on idiots during interviews where they're doing 95% of the talking. He's awful when he speaks for more than one sentence at a time.

If you wanna be invested in the characters you have to see the other movies. You know, Iron Man, the Thor movies, especially to understand Thor's relationship with his "brother," Loki. Watch Guardians Of The Galaxy for the comradery and humor between Drax, Rocket, Gomora and Quill... Oh, and I guess Groot. It would be the same as going to see Logan, but never having watched any of the X-Men movies. Ewe only went because ewe heard how the whole world was going apeshit over it, and didn't wanna be left out. I'm sure ewe'd be psyched for all the action on screen, but get nothing beyond that surface. No one wants to be the lone sheep that's not at the party. Think of how everyone flocked to buy Fidget Spinners, how everyone played Pokémon Go, idiots mortgaged their homes for Bitcoin, now it's Fortnite: Battle Royal! ...sorry... See the others first and get invested. Think of it as a marathon of a favorite TV show. Ewe don't have to wait until next week or next season. It's all there for ewe to watch.

Logan has almost no connection to the previous X-Men films. Completely different style, completely different storyline and tone, even a completely different time period. As long as you have a general understanding of who Wolverine and Prof. X are, you can watch it without having seen any of the other films. The movie does a good enough job of building up the characters and making you care about them. So I would argue your comparison is not really valid.

Yeah, for sure. I kinda goofed that one. A lot of the heart-to-heart between the Professor and Logan in the initial run of X-Men movies was good, but sparse. It's not enough to justify watching all the movies. Maybe just the first one, to understand why Xavier took someone lost and unwanted like him into his school.
