I wear a cami just about everyday for smoothing, but mainly because whites are so transparent these days. Shapewear can really make clothes look so much better, and so agree with getting a bra fitting. Also agree with the fact that petite pants are getting longer - I'm barely 5'1" and petite pants now need a couple of inches taken off the bottom, which around here costs around $30! Congratulations on the 27 lbs - way to go!!

No matter what you wear…whether it’s a print or not…a tunic or shorter…whatever it may be…..make sure it fits and doesn’t cling or show rolls and lumps…THAT alone will make you present better…THAT makes it look like you care about yourself…you can always buy something a size or 2 bigger or smaller…there are loads of choices no matter how expensive or inexpensive the item!

A wonderful video. What you said about plus sized women and clothing is absolutely true. I am plus size because I have a belly. The rest of me is slimmer, but it’s a very hard shape to dress and find clothes. If something fits me at the waist then the hips and legs are too big. Also where I live they don’t make clothes for my shape and so I have a difficult time finding things to wear. Thank you for your interesting video.

I have the same problem. I’ve missed events as I can’t find anything that’s fits due to my stomach. The only dress I found was an obvious maternity dress. I cried and wore pants the the event. I once got down to 9 stone but still had my oversized stomach.

I so agree with you on the plus size silhouettes, poor quality fabrics, and their limited color palette. Thankfully I sew; I know how to adjust my patterns and alter ready to wear. I used to manage an alterations shop, and I know how much those sewist enjoy doing alterations on good quality clothes. (Talbots is a great brand as a bench mark) So glad to find your cover picture was about the tunic and not the floral. I love a low contrast print to my jeans & slacks top in a print for both summer with no topper and winter with my solid sweaters as toppers, especially when the sweater has a strong contrast to my bottoms and my tucked in top (best waist fake for my tummy ever!) ❤

Fantastic video, Cathy! I love all of your tips. I am an hourglass/pear body shape. My legs are to torso ratio are not balanced. I’m a 32G. I’m 60 years old and lost hair from C.vid. I still have hair, but it’s not feminine or ladylike, so I invested in Human hair wigs. They are so gorgeous! I love them. Why not? Women get extensions, eye lash attachments, tattooed eyebrows, and plastic surgery. I wear them to my hair dresser and she cuts them to frame my face and she cuts in baby hairs so I can wear my hair up! It’s beautiful quality hair!and she colors and highlights them! She made one a pretty blonde! The other two are my natural color but warmer. No glut is needed with this brand wig: Follea by Daniel Alain. I just twist my hair and clip it. Put on a velvet hair band, and secure the wig with the rear comb under the hair bad. It does not move. It’s wind proof!

I wear Jean shorts and t shirts every day. If I go out in public I try and wear a nicer top, not a t shirt. But I do wear the same shorts. You look great. Whatever you are doing is working. Maybe tie your hair longer. But you look nice. I wore an all navy outfit the other day. We went to get new cell phones. And I had my denim shorts and a navy blue polo top. And I’m going to find somewhere by me where I can get a bra fitting. I Iive in the country, so I’m going to have to find a store in a city near me. And I found one close by. I will go there one day I’m free.

If you have a Soma, they will do the fitting and I find the bras comfortable and durable as I used to be a 40D.

Love you new hair style and color.❤I need to go to my Nordstrom and check out that front closure bra. I wish I could find a bra that actually lifts my boobs and not make them look bigger and more flat, I recently saw a picture of myself and my boobs were all spread out making me look like I had bigger ones than I actually have. I have a short torso with long legs so it’s hard to find them long enough for me. I’m only 5’6" and when I try on ankle pants it makes me look frumpy. I’m lucky I can wear black as well.

I have heard that Spanx sells a minimizer bra, closes at the back, that can make you appear one cup smaller. I haven't tried it, but I know a lady that has and she loves it.

I like wearing black from head to toe. Even in summer. I add colourful accessoires and I‘m tanned, too. I‘m always getting compliments for my style. The same works with navy blue for me. You look great - love your hair!😊

IME a nicely shaped tunic can be great-- but I am not petite and not apple shaped. You just have to try them on and see what works for you and your shape. The key for me has been to lean into styles with some shape and to stop buying things TOO BIG.
