We love how women have to put so much more effort into our clothes when we travel. Definitely have to go clothes shopping for some long skirts and maxi dresses before I go to Morocco.

Very good topic! I'm sure that it sometimes can be challenging when the overall weather is on the hot side, but I agree that cultural respect is a great thing. When I travel outside of North America, I always wear long pants as I've read that most locals usually wear long pants. Awesome video, and great job with the video editing!

I thought I read something like that in one of Rick Steves' Europe guidebooks. As I've only been to North America and Europe so far (that will change when I go to Bali in September), other continents may be different, so it may be just a European thing for the most part. As it will be hot in Bali, I will be wearing shorts for sure! :)

How much in American Dollars is a typical outfit in Morocco? Like a modest dress or shirt. Im thinking about packing light and buying some clothes while im there in July

It depends on how touristy the place is.. if you find an actual local place it would be pretty inexpensive, but if you are in a market and they know you are a tourist you will have to bargain for a good price. That was hard for me but I think you just have to stick with your price and don't budge. It's way cheaper than buying clothes in the US! Although you might have some luck at a store like Marshalls or Ross in the sale section! And packing light is always a good idea,.. you can always re-wear a couple of things, no one will notice!

Of course! I would pack less and just bring a few things you can mix and match from a cheap store such as Ross ! In the touristy areas like Marrakech the clothes will be overpriced.

just for information north of Morocco is cold febrary so listen travel vlogers start every time your travel tour with the south of Morocco like Agadir city is much better than coldness in the north (she is at 1000 Klm to the south) summer in Agadir city start in April lool just a waww gift :) but north stil good for the romantic tourists espeçialy cities like chefchawen, tanger, Assillah and Tetawen city)

Pretty much the same philosophy.. you have a lot of tourists coming on the ferry from Spain. I would rather cover up but I’m sure you will see some people that have no regard for conservative dress!

on the beach wear whatever you want wth i am moroccan and all the people i know wear 2 peace bikini like just wear whatever you want really nobody cares plus even if yes we are more conservative in some ways we don't mind tourists wearing anything ... and yes we have people covering their hair and maybe not even 1% covering their face but like aloot dont and just we have diffeerent people and nobody cares what you wear especially the beaches idk which beach you went to .... but yea i like you and your good intentions of respecting the culture but we aren't like that yes we are more conservative but women can wear whatever they want exept if u want to be naked or wear bra on the street then thats not okey in here but anything else is fine since even some women from here wear it ...

@@vaiolover1997 OMG that is news to me! I am guessing they were not making enough money offering such cheap flights. That is actually really sad.... My next recommendation would be to sign up for e-mail lists like Scott's Cheap Flights and follow Travel Pirates on Facebook. They will tell you about flight deals and it is possible to get really good deals. There are others that are similar too. I also like searching on Skyscanner and putting the destination as "Everywhere" and "cheapest month." Then you can see the best deals available at the moment!

You can wear whatever you want... the point I was trying to convey is to be respectful :) So no, I wouldn't wear a bikini there. But I am sure some people do/ wouldn't care. I wouldn't want to be stared at too much either, and would get too much attention. Have a safe trip!
