Love Scotland and go there frequently to see family. I don’t think it’s a mistake to bring ankle boots or kid leather gloves. I have worn both in June when it can be cold and damp. I’m not big on sweatshirts, but I pack one to wear over my nightgown after one year when I could not get warm in bed in the summer! And I live in Canada.

Yes, the weather can be crazy! My Sister In Law said it snowed in the Highlands the week before we were there. In July. 🥶
