I'm sure the Ugandans renting these places are very happy and the government of Uganda is not complaining about the benefits, businesses and money that is been made due to migration of people to Uganda.

There are around 500,000 Eritreans refugees in Ethiopia. They have started a business in Addis Ababa, but they can't make any significant competition with Ethiopian business people. The price of living housing has increased due to Eritreans' living styles as a group and paying a high amount of money. For poor Ethiopians to rent a living house is not affordable, and the government, rather than taking action on thousands of Eritreans refugees again formulate a rental policy and cuts rental prices on poor house owners which favors again the Eritrean refugees and collects tax from poor house owner that stays for 2 years.

Your all are very good people. It's ok if Eritrean are creating competition in Uganda. The Ugandan have failed to develop the country. The shop-owner tells us that the refugees get money from USA & Canada, and that is good for Ugandan economy. That is an investment prospering the country, and he needs to appreciate the refugees' presence. If you push the refugees out, it is Ugandans who lose in employment, with empty buildings, and without taxes to the government. Africans need to think before we speak.

I recently moved with my Kenyan wife and I was surprised a broker on the phone asked if I am Eritrean because of the area I suppose. I was surprised prices inflate for Eritreans. But then, the Ugandan brothers are right... wherever we go, prices do go up for one thing or the other. Don't believe? Ask Addis LandLords nowadays and they will prefer Eritrean over an Ethiopian.

It's ok if they invest in the country, they probably going to clean the city. Because us Uganda have not cleaned the city since the British left. No new buildings, they're boarders everywhere and Kampala is the dirtiest and old looking city in East Africa. Ugandans we are not displined.
