Yeah. Changing diapers isn't gum but I'm very grateful hubby does it with me. I also didn't produce enough milk so we paid a lot of $ to supplement our son with breast milk for 3 mo. A lot of people can't afford that but we could and I'm also so thankful for that. Love you guys. I listen to your content through my days.

Mayonaise in Pintos. I grew up and still live in NC. My mother puts mayo in pintos, I ate it that many times growing up. It isn't bad. I haven't eaten that way in decades. It isn't the "best" but, it isn't bad. My personal opinion is that it comes from the days when people were very poor and the mayo just added a "little touch" of something extra. Don't think of it like drowning the beans like salad swimming in salad dressing, just think about it being a little touch to the beans. To each their own.

as soon as Si said the coldest he has ever been - i started thinking about the coldest i have ever been - never forget - 48 years ago - 1975 - fort jackson - columbia south carolina - army basic training - i started in late september and it was really hot for several weeks - then on the last week we had to go out on bivouac and stay up all night - it was cold - maybe close to freezing - i had my army issue jacket with the extra liner inside but i was still cold - i was absolutely on the verge of going to the company commander and telling him to put me in the stockade for treason or insubordination - i didn't care - i just could not take it any more . finally i got the bright idea to sit down on the ground and take my shelter half out of my back pack then put it over my head and take my steel pot ( helmet ) and but it between my legs - fill it with dry leaves and set them on fire . I would hold my breath as long as i could then stick my head out and breath some and go back in . I don't know how i made it through that . then Si started talking about his daughter at the hospital - when my first child was 2 years old - my wife, me and her went to a florida bible camp 20 year reunion ( yep it was run and sponsored by the church of Christ ) - about 7 miles north of high springs florida - near o' leno state park - it had been 20 years since i was a camper there ( that was about 30 years ago when we went there ) while we were in the dining hall, my daughter was running around and playing near the large fireplace - in front there was a raised square area that you had to make about a regular step up to get closer to the fireplace and my daughter was squatting down right on the edge of that step - it was all stone work . next thing you know she somehow fell backwards and hit the back of her head and spit the skin open about an inch and a half long gash and she was bleeding we wrapped it in a towel with some ice and headed for the hospital traveling on state road 41 south to 441 south to 75 south for 26 miles and 32 minutes to the closest hospital which was in gainesville florida . we got there and when i saw the doctor sewing the laceration up - i almost blacked out - i had to leave and go into the bathroom and hide - sit down and keep my head low so i would not get dizzy and pass out ... i was ok after a while and we went back to the camp ...

i was raised in the church of Christ then at about 30 years old - i started reading and wondering about the verses that mentioned persons were elect of God . Romans 9 and all the verses that says God controls everything that is how He is able to keep all His promises because every single molecule is directly in His control . if He did not actively hold all the particles together and cause them to stay in their correct orbits and obey all the laws of physics - they would all slam into each other and destroy the universe . i believe that God chooses whomever He will for His own purposes and nothing else for salvation . that is the only way for everything in the world to be God centered . if humans have anything to do with the work of God other than being obedient by dying to ourselves and yielding to His will, then God is not in control because people get saved if they want to . God just hopes that a lot of dead people decide they don't want to be dead . a lot of people with no spirit activity - because their spirit is dead in trespasses and sins - they have no way to understand anything of the spirit because they ONLY have a natural mind that can ONLY understand things in a natural way they have no conception of good or truth because their thinking is corrupt just like the rest of the world if you are in church with your identical twin and you hear the gospel and you understand it and respond - but your twin does not - even though they heard the same thing - it is not because you were somehow different from them when you listened . it is because God chose to open your ears and eyes . just like Jesus said why He spake in parables to the people on purpose so they WOULD NOT understand - the meaning of the parables was given to His disciples so they would understand if God has chosen to save someone - before He made the world - then God will cause everything in the world to work for good to those he loves and He will give them His Spirit so they will love Him . No one can love God without His Holy Spirit inside their heart . No one can know God without the Spirit of God in their heart . Before God does the WORK of giving someone faith - that person does not want God - they want a god of their own corrupt imagination because they have no way to know God until He reveals Himself to them . John 6 28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. they asked Jesus - what work can we do to be saved - Jesus said it is the work of God that saves you when He give you faith in believing what you hear and see because He gave you the eyes to see and the ears to hear . Had he not given these gifts to you - you would have remained the same lost person you always have been . Those who believe and receive the gift of God are chosen without respect to their person - nothing about them - just as there was nothing about the jews that gave cause for God to choose them . and there was nothing about the physical appearance of Christ that anyone should prefer Him . John 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. It is never the will of man that accomplishes anything good - paul said that if he does anything good - ti is not him - but God Spirit working in him he also said that in his flesh is nothing good - a person's own will is either active and fulfilling the flesh or it is yielding itself completely to obey God . the only way for anyone to do good is for them to NOT do their own will and do only God's will how can you possibly think that your will is good enough to understand and recognize God and anything good ? how can you say that you used your own will - without any help from God - to decide to be saved ? ? ? there is nothing in the bible that teaches any person to obey their own heart and exercise their own will . the prime example is Jesus . He always did the will of His father . when He prayed - not My will but Thy will be done . that was not just a one time special occasion - that was what Jesus did every minute of his life . if He did not do that then He could not be our perfect example .

Anyone else sick of Martin acting like he’s doing something nobody else has done? Taking care of twins
@kablammy7
@kablammy7 Жыл бұрын
we started 30 years ago and had 7 kids and they all stayed home doing home school the whole time we wanted twins, didn't happen you have to understand that - to some people kids are a big hassle - and others just go with the flow and ride the tide without spazin' out too much just cause you are different, don't make you superior and them inferior however, you attitude seems to be quite a bit more sour than i have ever seen martin so maybe you can tone it down and look in the mirror and remember - it is only by the grace of God that you don't have MORE trouble thinking that you can save everyone from the pain that you feel by convincing them to complain as much as you do to answer your question - on my part - no i am not sick of martin being martin - he is a very courteous and congenial person and i think that any judgement of attitude that you think he is projecting to you may not be reality for anyone else at all on the whole planet so maybe the problem is not martin or anything that he is doing look in the mirror - maybe the beam in your eye is blocking the true reflection from convincing you otherwise

Well, you have some valid points from your perspective - many may share you view and when i was younger with less experience being overly serious all the time - i would have had the same opinion and attitude . however, after much time of being overly serious all the time, i have worn myself down the hard way and am beginning to realize that so much of my very serious and honestly conscientious criticisms, while being as precisely appropriate as possible, absolutely do mix well in general society, and in semi-private or private relations - it is more venomous and concentrated . there is always a reason to reconsider your viewpoints and understand that even if you walk away from this circumstance and turn and go elsewhere - you will still find it does not go away - it is everywhere you go . the show is not a show that you want to see - you want to see a show where everything is fair - people take polite turns to give equal opportunity etc . the rules that you don't see followed are not followed there on purpose . they don't want to make a show the way you want to see it the vast majority of people that watch this show are people who definitely are not thinking as seriously about things as you and I probably would have some years ago . they are not going to change the show - because there will never be enough people who have serious objections to what they are doing - unless they start going overboard - which is possible . from my experience - you will be wise to go find someplace where you have influence or the ability to gather influence for whatever cause you seed to pursue .

About a minute in, and JD let’s out one of those sick goose sounds! What a waste! Change the codes. We don’t need him. Always TOO LOUD. Got to be the “Star”! The “look at factor”! I think he’s come up missin, I’m not sure he’d be missed!
