I am with Amber, plus size is one thing, but Obesity should not be celebrated and I for sure don't want to look at it.

I have to give Amber props. She knows that having any sort of discussion with Nomi is a complete waste of time. Amber's tolerance deserves Awards. I just hope Amber doesn't leave Rising (unless she and Robby go somewhere together simultaneously), as her talent is 100% wasted in "discussions" with Nomi.

Victoria's Secret showing how out of touch they are. I know Nomiki Konst has so many bad takes, but claiming this is good for the financial bottom line of Victoria's Secret is laughable.

Victoria's Secret stock (ticker VSCO) is at $27.75 right now. Are you, like me, thinking about loading the boat with November $20 Puts? Tell me this isn't even MORE out-of-touch than Bud Light! Guys in lingerie??? Sprinkle in some obesity as icing on the irony cake. I mean, come ooonnn...

“But they’re still going to go to the mall and buy Victoria’s Secret because there aren’t very many options anymore. We live in a monopolistic society and…” Ha ha ha ha ha ha! I want to see her face when she finds out you can buy things on the internet. I mean, my wife brought this topic up to me yesterday, said it was BS and she was done with VS, then proceeded to look online for things.

Obviosly the alleged abuse of models has now extended to men.
@jbak874 сағат бұрын
That has been going on for decades. In the 90's there were male models complaining about the photographer Mario Testino.

Clearly she hasn't experienced the get well go broke movement. People making these drastic decisions and either destroying or completely losing their business. But yeah let's see how Victoria's secret does

What does it have to do with race? Ok for body positivity but it should exclude anorexia and obesity as well.

Viewership of the show had fallen from 9.2 million viewers in 2014 to 3.2 million in 2018. Victoria's Secret had also been experiencing an overall decline due to increasing competition, as well as changing perceptions to the company's marketing-which a retail analyst described as encouraging women to objectify themselves to "impress men". The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2024 had an airtime of around two hours and registered a massive 2.67M Peak Viewers. The official channel on KZbin contributed 2.13M PV to this figure, putting it among the five most popular broadcasts this year across platforms and at the number one spot among entertainment streams on the red platform. The cope is SOOOOO real 😂
@jbak874 сағат бұрын
The last time I saw it was over 16 million views on KZbin alone.
@videowatcher200004 сағат бұрын
@jbak87 those aren't live viewers, people don't count views of reruns. That would be comparing apples to oranges. It also isn't an accurate reflection of people watching because they care to support or just checking out the fallout from the drama in the news after the fact. Just checked and the view count is at like 20 Mil. I wonder what the average watch time is tho 🤔

The fashion show does nothing for me and I do for the most part fit the size demographic of Victoria’s Secret. Amber was spot on with the trans inclusion going into every women’s category, which we do not see the flip side of nearly as much. I do not have a desire to continue the broad narrative entertaining segregating by race while simultaneously saying men and women’s gender separation means nothing.
