I truly believe if Murphy was gone the Hawks would have traded back. I still don't understand how Christian Haynes falls to the 3rd round #81....every mock I seen he was gone no later than around pick #45.

Mock drafts are not really life. They are trash. Yet how someone that good was there in the 81 pick was silly. He was probably the second-best guard in the draft. Some might argue he was the best right guard in the draft. That's probably hurt him. He only plays 1 spot. Which is stupid. Can you play the spot you got drafted for. If the answer is yes, then pick him. Haynes didn't. It was stupid.

The way the draft was going it was all offense before Seattle. It fell perfect for Seattle. Can pick any defensive player John wanted

No it doesnt, not at all. People say that every year and its far from the truth. Every draft is different so stop comparing them and living in the past. People who live in the past too much, lose sight of the future

It only feels that way because its a fresh start, and we’ve turned the page on Petes era, which was fun, but necessary, now we can get back to winning MORE game and winning the games that are MUST NEED games to be contenders for the next decade. Go Hawks.

I'm very interested to see what the new coaching does with the players we have too. No dis to Pete. I lifted with a college player who said Pete came to the Hawks knowing a ton of ballers from college and then that ran dry. FWIW...
