Group 3, yeah I understand what you're saying about not wanting to comment talking about twin flames if you don't feel qualified; I identify as a twin flame. I guess the best way to relate to twin flames is to think of the typical anxious-avoidant attachment Trauma dynamics- where one is attempting to establish communication and the other is pulling back into themselves and they're both triggered.

My Dad was a severe alcoholic when I was a kid, and so when my twin flame ghosted me, I became aware slowly that I had trauma from not knowing whether my Dad would die from drink driving on a daily basis when I was a child. One of my most vivid memories is of my Dad pulling into the driveway in our car one sunny afternoon, and then when he got out of the car,he was so drunk that he literally couldn't walk. 😢😢😮 that's how I became aware that his alcoholism had been so traumatic for me Ironically, it was his boss at the Department of Veteran's Affairs who would take them all out to the pub every lunchtime that was largely the reason for why he was, excuse the expression, but "off his face", most days after work. 😅😮

@@melissajackson1814 I grew up with the same exact experience as you. My Father was an alcoholic, never there for me emotionally and always making me feel abandoned while I had to be my Mother's rock as she was suffering from the trauma too. My TF was someone I developed a close bond with during my high years. Our connection has been a struggle as he's always triggered me. It wasn't until the last time we interacted when he iced me out, then ghosted me, I finally realized we triggered each other. I literally wasn't doing anything but just standing next to him, but the emotional intensity he felt from me apparently triggered the hell out of him. We're both married to other people and have our own families respectively, which is just another obstacle to having any type of lasting connection. I know I made a lasting impression on him as he did with me. It's just very hard and I feel cheated that he ended up doing the same shit to me as my Father did. I never ghosted him or walked away knowing that would be hurtful and immature. I treated him with respect and authenticity but he never reciprocated. It's been a few years since we last interacted, and I've moved to Florida since then. I still feel the loss and wish we could have reconciled prior to me moving, but he did what he did best; run from this connection. Thank you for posting your scenario about your Father. Many of my peers do not understand what I went through with him as a kid. You do. Pile 3, while I didn't enjoy the reading because it just pointed more to the truth of trigger and loss, it was accurate.
