Bronze is used in a lot of modern machinery etc, when the engineer wants to make sure only one of two contacting parts is being worn away, they make that one from bronze and the other from steel. Bronze is still pretty hard so it resists abrasion pretty well, but when it's worn away you only need to swap out the bronze part.

This is a really smart feature: First get people hooked to a subject with a slick shorter video, then expand on it with additional audio within the same framework of visual cues. By means of progreesive learning, the short version becomes more memorable, and the extended content becomes better motivated and more digestible. A one hour firework of colorful graphics would even be too exausting (for both creator and follower, I guess) Please just make sure that every name and year digit is spelled out somewhere on the screen. I still pause and replay a lot because I didn't get some name or number. But in general, additional audio gives adequate time to appreciate the elaborate maps that can overwhelm you when watching the short version for the first time. Thank you so much for your very valuable contribution to our general education with respect to a quite fundamental topic!

By the way, I have personal connections to Georgia, ... if you don't know where upon to expand next - but I would revisit any of your previous topics!

Its a shame this video has so few views relative to others because I love all the extra information. Very under appreciated.

This is my second video of yours. I absolutely love your work. The accessible speaking style while not losing content or dumbing it down and great graphics are a real draw. I am just going to run the playlists continuously in the back ground and see how much my son absorbs. Letting the ads play through of course. You deserve some coin for all your efforts! I found out later than was what my dad did with documentaries and public radio. Then he'd casually mention something about say not being sure of the date of Rames rule and lo and behold it was somewhere in my noggin. It worked better than "how was school today" for us.

Revisiting this video after my first viewing - still brilliant! I really appreciate the amount of work you put into these videos. The books available to me are usually written in the 80s and have a weird European slant, even when talking about the great civilisations of the Middle East
