They would watch matches together, measure up and scout who were wrestling those nights, and act like jackasses. Probably not a proper big foreshadow, but that line MJF dropped about building a group of his own does seem to tie those particular moments in. Edit: this (the spears and MJF banter) was going on until MJF’s feud with Mox.
