I think the miscommunication came with the whole "I will say I tracked you" part What illusionist likely thought was "ah, they will confirm my fake claim, so I will claim x and they will say they tracked me" What TT thought was "I will say where they went and they can build off that" They did not make the fake claim together properly, so now TT tracker outed illu that fakeclaimed something else BUT In that situation the tracker is right. If they fake saying where illu went, once illu is hanged then tracker is outed as fake. Despite this, it's just... a bad idea altogether, specifically for TT. Another coven coulda done the fake claim instead

Nah coven didn’t implode. Coven straight up self destructed. Two outted 4 & 10 as coven 9 controlled vigi into themselves and outted 2 as TT 7 meanwhile was the only one who actually did anything good by counter claiming the Monarch, although it was too late to be beneficial.

9 is a bigger thrower than 2. 2's play might've actually worked if it weren't for 9. I mean outting 2 coven? That's like 100% confirmed not TT Edit: Actually 2 wasn't throwing at all, they were actively trying to win. It's 9 who wanted to make sure coven lost out of their own rage, so 9 is definitely a game thrower

@@sudegok1027 Considering that 2 only said that 4 "acknowledged it" and 4 immediately responded "NO I DIDN'T" followed by 10 saying "4 said to stop", I feel like there's a more believable story within this and it's not coming from the one who only cared about their own strategy. Bussing without explicit agreeing is 100% throwing though. All it does is set off the other person and aggrieves the entire rest of the team to you, breaking down communication and teamwork because you're 100% a rogue agent already displaying you'll disregard what the others are saying.

@@RolyatSille 2 made the right move for the situation. They had their will posted, and failing to call out 4 would have just outed them once somebody else noticed the conflicting information. They weren't initially going for a buss, they were clearly hoping to semi-confirm illusionist as TP. Illusionist messed that up, and 2 did their best to salvage the situation: Losing two coven sucks, but that was likely to happen either way, better to call them out and semi-confirm yourself as not tt, preserving the chance of a TT hunt win since maj became near-impossible. 2's attempt to salvage things might have worked if the witch hadn't shot themself in the foot in both the literal and metaphorical sense by sending vigi into themself and throwing by outing 2.

Like…. First mistake is actually coordinating what you are going to do as coven, second mistake is literally putting in your notes “2 is actually throwing this” it could have been a good play to buss but with no coordination it was sloppy

@@-ism8153 They weren't. They were seemingly going for a fake confirm play, expecting Illusionist to claim TP or something. They announced what they were doing in advance, so it's entirely on the Illusionist for claiming coroner. Once their publicly wills conflicted with each other, the TT had to be the one to call it out or else they would have looked sus once someone noticed that. Because outing two coven so early semi-confirmed them as not TT, 2 might have salvaged the situation and gotten a TT win if 9 hadn't immediately shot themself with a vigilante, putting the town in a guaranteed win situation, and thrown by outing 2 in their will.

@@-ism8153 It wasn't technically a play to go for TT win off the bat. The problem was that TT claimed Illusionist visited and then Illusionist claimed Coroner who can't visit N1. If Illusionist had claimed TP or TI who visits N1, it wouldn't have contradicted what TT said and they wouldn't have been bussed. This is not to say people should play like the TT here (it really needed to be coordinated better), but once they posted their will, they had to act townie and follow through with what they said they had as info.

This is what a coven implosion looks like. It sucks when you haven't agreed to bussing, but that doesn't mean you out them in your will. The real loss was due to coven outing 2 and Jailor being yolo'd monarch N1. If witch had witched vigi to jailor and 9 hadn't outted 2, they might have survived TT hunt as the tracker who found 2 coven N1.

The problem with bussing is to make sure your team is fine with it, probably give it a couple of nights... 2 could have tracked the jailor or someone conf not tt and then n2+ buss? Who knows... Or just fake claim seer for 1f1 (actually add a useless coven but first push the other town)

@@bluemaster7530 Yeah, the only downside of that is that Jailor was yolo'd monarched N1 and the tracker may have ended up killed anyway if there was enough time to hang everyone (which there was because town still had killing power during TT hunt with both vigi and jailor).

@@NicoTheCinderace what TT tracker wanted to do was soft buss illusionist, with them being able to claim town protect, but instead the illu claimed CORONER, which got him hung, which outed the Conjurer. Which lead to the witch bussing their town traitor in rage. To be honest, that wasn't 2's fault, that was Illus' fault and then the Witch's fault

@@woobgamer5210 Yeah, it was the Illusionist's fault for not coordinating with the rest of the team, and the Witch decided to just bus their traitor in pure rage, which resulted in a throw by the Witch. If Illusionist coordinated with TT Tracker, it would've made for a sick confirmation play and been incredible. Yet, Illusionist went against the play, and look where that landed them.

TT tracker went on Illusionist, which could have backed up their claim if they claimed literally any visiting role. Since Illusionist claimed coroner, they had to buss them to look like a townie, which also outed Conj. This was rough, but could have been salvaged since TT became semi-confirmed for outing two coven so early. But the Witch got p*ssed and threw by outing the tt in their will, and accidentally shot themself with vigi, at which point it became a guaranteed town win. TL,DR; TT tracker did a fake confirm play that turned into an early buss play because Illusionist was dumb, and Witch actively threw.

2 wasn't good, you should never ever ever ever initiate a bus plan on day 2 after only a single night, that's far too little time for co-ordination or to let the others think it over and trying to grab the reins of power like that immediately and trying to act like the main character is just never going to go well. Pipe had a recent game with somebody doing the same thing, it was incredibly frustrating to watch. 4 was a bit meh, sounds like he wasn't paying attention to the game at all, he needs to either eat his dinner or queue for a game. Claiming Coroner wasn't a smart play at all but it could have worked out perfectly in the end if not for... 9. Yeet the guy into the shadow realm, there is absolutely no excuse for putting 2 in the will like that and there's a chance coven could have won if he hadn't done that if no vigi and mon random knighting Tuba n1.

2 didn't initiate a buss play until they were forced to. From their explanation, they were going for a fake confirm play, expecting 4 to claim TP or something. Tracker strengthens 4's claim, without looking sus if 4 got outed. When 4 instead claimed coroner, they had no choice but to call out the contradiction or end up looking sus. Because 4 was dumb, 2 was forced to shift to an early tt hunt play, which might have worked if the witch hadn't immediately shot themself with vigi(Guaranteeing a town win) or thrown by outing 2 in their will. 2 made the right call for the situation they were in, 4 f*cked up, and 9 shot themself in the foot in both the literal and metaphorical sense.

@@Missingno_Miner If that's true then reduce 2's screwup numbers fairly low, but I do remember they said he changed targets like 5 times and didn't explain himself too well so not to zero. Increase 4's a few notches and yeah I forgot about Witch literally shooting themselves I think there's an achievement for that and if they were specifically going for that then okay, but if they weren't then increase their numbers close to infinity.

it sounds crazy but I had this same thought as the TT (maybe I cannot say "same thought" but this is my perspective) : TT prob thinks about, "maybe I will track the illusionist, if he claimed a role that seems making sense that will confirm him, otherwise I am the one to be "confirmed" since I got 2 coven out in one-go and that would make me less likely to be TT", but yeah coven should have coordinated it way better because TT Tracker can also fake any other roles with no repercussions (if there's another tracker on TT that would be the trouble, otherwise TT is safe and dandy)
