I have a question sir. A) What is your observance level, and religious understanding. B) What do you think about the argument that the very point you are making has the opposite effect of what you presume to say? My reasoning as devil's advocate would be several points. Given the fact that problems of the world are a cause of a deteriorating society the use of phones being a distraction/corruption factor would lead to the problems, and the extinction of them leads to a solution. Meaning, by your reasoning that phones are "necessary" and that we should integrate them because they have benefit, but we would then be creating the very problem that you would be saying that the phones solve. Also, what about the past 3,000 years of human history where communication has been going on (which was the only/or main thing your reasoning is based on). yes phones made things much easier, accessible, etc. it is undeniable that they have good, but the point is that the good that is being provided is not necessary and can be given through other not as-damaging means. Finally, the one single good you give, does not seemingly justify all the evil that phones bring. Just curious to what you think about this. Especially that first point.

Hey thanks for your question, the main point is that phones are here to stay and cannot be avoided and we therefore need a strategy to integrate them safely. I would recommend watching the full doc for context.

@@_yiddishkeit Ok no problem, I got the point. I think though that maybe you missed the point of the Rabbi's, saying that it's not necessarily here to stay unless we allow it to stay. I guess maybe the the doc would provide more proof to your statement that would give it more weight perhaps. Not sure.
