Recently, my school banned hugs, high-fives, and fist bumps. About 30 kids were SUSPENDED for doing one of these! The next day, they said they never banned hugs, high-fives, or fist bumps, but they had already suspended multiple people for it! They were just trying to hide what they did! Apparently at my school someone thought it was a good idea to vandalize the bathroom by literally ripping a bathroom door off its hinges. This resulted in the bathroom being locked for a long time, only being available during breaks. The problem is the teachers would either not care or forget to unlock it. The reason it was such a problem for me was because I have Crohn's Disease and I often need to use the restroom throughout the day. Since the restroom was always locked and I couldn't use it I was in visible pain throughout the day. Morale of the story don't break doors.

I once had a substitute teachers, and she got mad at someone for saying "bless you" to a kid who sneezed, this was in elementary, she was the worst sub we ever had, she walk around with a god complex, and hated any type off talking, had a whole argument with like a 10 year old for say bless you, the kid was being polite, we're taught to say "bless you" when someone sneezes, I'm in high school now and I'm still mad about it, and it wasn't even me. I remember doing something similar at my high school. Difference was that it was during class. Well a kid had an episode and the teacher escorted them to the nurse when the drill happened teacher was still at the nurse basically across the school from us. Thing was this was an English teacher that had the fake weapons from drama club since they where incharge of it. Well we couldn't lock or block the door and got the weapons, fake attacker came through the door with the stereotypical robbers mask and gets hit over the head with a wooden axe by a classmate. Needless to say we passed the test and that kid was suspended.

During my middle school years, sports were mandatory after school because some Karen complained to the headmaster saying she wanted a rule like that. Luckily I used my autism accommodations to get out of doing them, but let me just say that award ceremonies were quite awkward since I was the only kid sitting down and not on stage. The sports cliques made it even worse. The rule was removed shortly after I transferred to a different school though, but not everyone is athletic or meant to be a sports star, people. It's no different for your kids either; remember that.

Also, during passing period (wich is like 2 or 3 mins long) I went to the bathroom and got late for class multiple times. The only time ur allowed to use the bathroom is during passing period.
