Not enough people discuss the phenomenon of roll cage shrinkage or why it happens to those who find beer and bbq delicious. A damn mystery

if you like hearing about old 275 or outlaw radial stuff just google search yellowbullet outlaw radial or x275 and you will see some good threads pop up from 07-2012. youll see what the first leaf spring car to go 7s was, when dzued frame rails first happened (scranton brothers) first car to run 200mph an back it up, the debate of stock style suspension vs stock suspension..in 08 is when things got wild really because donald started throwing money into outlaw radial and in 09 is when radial vs world was done to prove that s/s cars would drag the true ten 5 and limited street cars which where back half cars on 29x10.5s. folks like chad rivera, justin curry,shannon ragsdale,jef pulk,darrin hoyle,reese and the bad9er crew where some of the badass rides back then. on tt5's

Its cool hearing about the good ol days. I have also heard from turbo gurus that not all anti surge covers perform the same. They said the anti surge covers with holes drilled in them (precision was popular for this) would lose power over covers without it. They said that type of comp housing on Vader is a better design.

I was at the end of piedmont to pull Chad Brandon back to the pits when Pete came through the traps at 140+ on fire. The fire suppression didn't work and there were extinguishers at the end of track put nobody had a dzus wrench to get the hood up. My pocket multi tool got all the fasteners open but one and we had to break the carbon hood off to get the fire out ( all this in maybe 20-30 seconds)

This conjured many thoughts and memories. Yellow forum I was probably on their airgun page daily from 2010-13. Cars that were a big deal of their time - like Nitrous Pete’s fox body late 80s early 90s era. 92-94 I used to street race around Detroit in my buddies 88 GT that was built by Steve Christ of Dynotunes in Minnesota, which is who built Nitrous Pete’s Mustang, and 7 of the 10 fast Mustang’s of the day. Those were the days when all the races were stick shift Mustangs it seemed. Good times 👍👊🇺🇸🤘

2 things- 1- every single video I end up singing along to the theme tune loud as fuck like an idiot. 2- interesting what you said about the anti surge slots, as you do get conflicting info. The turbo specialists/experts generally claim without the slots will make more power as their job to reduce surge is bleeding off some air and therefore lowering compressor efficiency. BUT most drag racers and tractor pull guys say with the slots makes MORE power, because when the compressor is fully tapped out those slots suck air IN rather than bleed OUT. Never seen any back to back data to prove either way though.
@realgoodatdoinstuff9008 ай бұрын
The slots make more power without a doubt. Quite a bit actually

What kind of Smokey Yunkic activites were you trying that day?????
