@@souvikdeb808 You’re right. I simply point at the Dominion match as it seemed the point of the match was to focus on dropping each other on their heads and even if the opponent didn’t do it, the guy would move his head to make sure he landed right on it. It was the weirdest and stupidest match I have ever seen

Naito can still have great matches, it needs to be the right opponent. That's not saying Naito wasn't ropey as hell and not saying Mox is the wrong opponent, he's in a position where he's really popular but cannot do what he used to do. Sabre and Ospreay had great matches with him this year.

If you want a decent match, at least one of the guys envolved has to be a good worker and be able to call the match in the ring, in this case Naito can't move and Moxley is not a good worker, he is not even good at orchestrating the matches against less experienced wrestlers. Mercedes suffers from being overhyped, overrated, having things handed to her, just a really bad gimmick and just outright annoying. Willow put in the work, she deserved the title, Vaquer is a multi champ in, she put in the work between CMLL and AEW. There was no reason not to put the TBS title on Stephanie who was obviously the better wrestler especially if you want to bolster ties with CMLL. NJPW put their top title on Mox, a bold move by NJPW. I don't see AEW putting the heavyweight title on non AEW talent like Shingo but Shingo could easily be an awesome TNT champion. NJPW definitely needs to push the younger talent like Tsuji, & ELP. Would love to see them in more AEW matches.

No, it wasn't anything to do with where Mercedes was from, it is that Stephanie Vaquer was so much better at everything she did and she looked like a star, a fantastic wrestler and Mercedes looked bad. You want to elevate a young NJPW guy? Have them be the one to beat Mox. That's how you make a new star. Mox should have won here and then lost to a younger guy at Dynasty in the Tokyo Dome.

Yep, NJPW should make a new star by beating a guy who got outdrawed by pissing Sanada in the same venue a year earlier and by the Jr Heavyweights at Dominion over the promotion's biggest star and draw. I'm glad people like you aren't booking NJPW.

I just hate the how Japanese pro wrestling promotions keep losing all of their stars. I wish they’d take “Japan” out of the names of NJPW and AJPW and do like Pride, Rizin, K-1, Dream, Heroes, and Pancrase. Put an extremely glaring and unmissable emphasis on the Japanese culture and style, but don’t name your promotion after it. I just feel like having “Japan” in the name makes it look less meaningful on a global scale. Like how can a promotion with a single country in the name hold a true “World” championship?
