‘What We Do In the Shadows’ Cast & Crew Break Down the Barenaked Ladies Montage | Making A Scene

A single line of dialogue pertaining to the Barenaked Ladies’ hit song “One Week” became the entire premise of “The Wellness Center” episode of the third season of ‘What We Do In The Shadows".

Seriously! This was my first time seeing an interview with him, and it just shows how great of an actor he is, cause the whole time I kept having to remind myself that he (Kayvan) plays Nandor. They seem like two completely separate people.

I remember Cree Summer from her A DIFFERENT WORLD days. Since then, she's been in the deep end of voice-over acting for cartoons for so long that it's always a delightful surprise to see her IRL :)

As a socially awkward person who loves acting it's actually much easier than having real life conversations. When you're acting you're not actually yourself, you're an idea, an exaggeration of reality. While in person everything you say speaks for you as a person, so it's much harder to come out of your shell since you're representing yourself and not a character. That aside, being rhetorically versed and witty is also a learned skill and these actors have years of experience on their hands.
