In 1980 my friends and I had finished our nurse training, we worked for 6 months and then we went to the Greek islands for 3 months, we slept on the beach or rented rooms, we ate in small tavernas got bread from the village bakeries every morning it was the best time of my life

Went for only 3 weeks at a time every year in the 1970’s and 1980’s, plus several times in the 90’s and did the same as you did. It was bliss. I’ve never been happier anywhere. We paid our way, left no litter, were respectful…and the people were wonderful. The food, was superb. Then many tourists came, wanting burgers, chips, nightclubs, sunshine, lots of alcohol, as if they were at home ! I visited Corfu often, Paxos, Crete several times, Rhodes, Samos, Skiathos, Meteora, Athens, Kos, Santorini, Ios and so on.

Your grandma's food looks so healthy, nourishing and tasty. Some of the dishes are quite typical in my family in Georgia too, like stuffed veggies, stuffed cabages, salads. The video was very pleasant to watch too.

Except for the lamb and the goat (no judgement here, I just don't eat baby animals,) this all looks wonderful! Love the garden and everything that comes from it. What a beautiful place too. I imagine a lot of love and laughter occurred in Grandma's kitchen while filming took place. ❤
