I love the dairy free cooking! Our family is dairy and gluten free and I've enjoyed learning how to cook for our unique needs. The biggest hack is cashew cream in place of heavy cream for cooking (I just blend it up before I need it), coconut cream for heavy cream in baking, almond milk (blended at home) in place of milk and tallow in place of butter. Works every time! I make all your sisters sourdough recipes with those replacements!

I picked my basil today and made pesto. Omg it was so good over spaghetti! Nothing tastes so good as what’s homegrown and home cooked!

❤Thank you for this beautiful video! I watched as I ate breakfast thinking about how much I’ve wanted to be able to afford Caraway cookwear. Now that it’s just me cooking I ordered the cream set and look forward to throwing away my old dented pots/pans. THANK YOU! 😊

Beautiful cookware. I have never used Teflon pans before only cause I like things that last. Great gold color for your kitchen. Great video, 🌷🇨🇦

I love how you share your successes and your challenges when trying new methods of cooking. I had that same exact challenge with instant pots and roasts and I have rescued even pork and lamb roasts that i have already sliced by giving the slices a finish in the cast iron pan. In Australia, some restaurants have "twice cooked" tender meats on their menu and I've actually wondered if this is what they've done on purpose. We aren't born knowing how to do all these things, and we learn so many tips and tricks by just having a go and doing. Well done. I love what you share about your journey and days. Your Caraway pots look so perfect in your sweet sunny kitchen.

I’ve had the slow cook thing happen to me before too! My instant pot has a low, normal and high setting for the slow cooker and I tend to use the higher setting which helps. Also if something is underdone after I slow cook I’ll often just pressure cook it right in the instant pot for a few minutes. Great recipes!

oooh thanks for explaining the low, normal and high settings on the instant pot: I will check out if mine does too

I am so glad your neighbor shared with you. It's such a shame when home grown stuff goes to waste because most ppl that grown their own gardens can't use it up in time! Also LUV to see you cook in that vintage inspired kitchen. Your parents must be so proud to have not ONE but FOUR awesome daughters that can do just about anything around the home! See you in your next video......Your OHIO Friend NANCY

Slow cooking is wonderful, I love my crockpot. Depending on the size of a piece of meat, cooking on low, you need 10hrs or more. I hope you explore more with it. I do a flank steak in the crockpot and it's delicious
