I had them lined up properly but, in the editing process at some point, they must have got moved and I never double checked their placement. It’s refreshing to see an 11 year-old who still likes playing. I love Calico Critters, the attention to detail is awesome, the accessories are really high quality and detailed. Yes, they plastic, but they look like leather/wood/steel etc...

I agree! They are pretty expensive, in my opinion, but the details are great. And yes, I LOVE that she has the interests of a young girl still and not those of a preteen (don't get me wrong, she would still love to have her own phone). ❤

You should get page protectors for the cards and then put the protectors in binders. My brother does that and it keeps them in good condition. He probably has over 1,000 cards maybe more, but yeah just a suggestion

Great to see your gifts. I remember watching your video last year while you were still pregnant. She is precious. We love calico critters. They are called Sylvanian families here. We also love the scrubbies too. They are called washimals here. I haven't seen replacement markers for them either. If I do, I will let you know. Thanks for sharing.

So I actually contacted Crayola about something else and asked them if they sell the markets individually. They don't right now but are planning to next year this time. Until then, this is what they said would work: "In the meantime, you may use Crayola Ultra-Clean Washable markers on the little pets; however, only the following colors have received the seal of approval, as we'd like to ensure the pets can be colored on again and again. The colors are as follows: Blue Blue lagoon Green Orange Sandy Tan Violet Yellow"

I work for one of the Crayola experiences. They do not sell the scribble scrubby markers separate but try Crayola ultra clean washable markers. And only light colors reds and blues blacks all stain .We don’t even supply dark colors for them to color with it the attraction because of the staining.

The Pokemon plush you alread have that is red is flareon (a fire Pokemon) the one you are getting her is jolteon (an electric type Pokémon) they are both evolutions of eevee. The white Pokemon plush is galarian form vulpix. It’s from the sun and moon (Galar islands) generation of Pokemon. It is an ice type Pokemon. Regular vulpix is a reddish orange colour and is a fire type.

Awe My youngest used to make almost those exact same noises and we called her dinosaur 🦕 as well.. Makes me wish I could have more babies. I have 3 girls,my youngest is 4.

I don't believe I've ever heard one of the older kids complain. They tend to get excited when I bring these toys out again for the next child and say, "Oh, I remember this toy!" And then they want to play with it as if it's a new toy 🙂

That pokemon is "9 tails". I only know that because MY kids are obsessed with pokemon lol. I will only buy them cards on their birthdays now. Cause like you say, they are so expensive and then end up torn or whatever....Waste of money!

Nine tails is actually the adult form (: this particular guy is an alolan vulpix. I was and still am obsessed with Pokémon even at 30 lol

May not look like it, but her gifts were right on budget, just like my other kids. The Pokemon plush was around $22, the T-Shirt $18, the other two plush animals together $30, the 3D puzzle $12, Coloring book $8, and Scribble Scrubbie $8. All together is around $100, which is our budget per child. It's nice of you to be concerned for her, though 🙂
