We also got my son his tablet this year. I would recommend setting it up a head of time since it takes awhile and 2 years old are not patient. Also another piece of advice don't buy kid headphones for it cause the tablet keeps it from getting to loud and you can't hear with the kids phones. Hopefully that helps you all.

we don't do christmas, but celebrate Hanukkah. my favorite gift my 3 older kids are getting (4,3,2) is our old phones since hubby and I upgraded and the 2 year old will get the another older one we had. we are signing up for abcmouse, and buying a few more kid friendly apps for their age level, and we bought then each a durable case in they're favorite colors. 😄
