"Food safety is our absolute priority." If that were true, your refrigerators were not be full of mold, bacteria, and listeria. It would not smell like mold and rotting meat. Your packaging plants would be cleaned. We can all smell mold and rotting meat. It's impossible not to smell it. Funny how Boar's Head decided to ignore that and sell meat that they KNEW was full of bacteria. Funny how Boar's Head saw the mold in their fridges and in their packaging plants but ignored that as well. They have the nerve to be the most expensive deli foods on the planet, tout that their brand is the very best there is, and then sell rotted meat from fridges they knew were full of bacteria and packaged in plants that also are not cleaned. I hope those that were affected by this severe disregard Boar's Head has for human beings sue this company and rake in every penny they have. I hope those who purposely allowed this to happen go to prison...for a very very very long time.

We do need the FDA, but we need an FDA That is not corrupt. We need an FDA that intervenes before people die. We need an FDA that closes a plant like this, where they're incompetence and irresponsibility actually killed people. We need an FDA that's actually going to stand up and do what their job is. Unfortunately, we have several members of the FDA whose pockets are easily lined. The oxycodone debacle was just one example of this. BFDA makes it impossible for good drugs that are new to get through, but does things like keep plants like this open. It's mind boggling how inefficient some United States government organizations are

I was at Ralphs one day when the Boar’s Head reps came in to deliver product. They had two shopping carts full of deli meats and cheeses. One of the guys was new, and the other was training him. They handled the products very disrespectfully, throwing the meats to each other as if they were handling footballs. This is not the proper way to handle food, and it is not the proper way to behave in front of customers and the public. I wanted to say something to them about it, but bit my tongue.
