As an Oklahoman I'd like to see this park built. But I think it has two major problems. 1) It is an hour drive away from the nearest metro area and airport (Tulsa). 2) It can be chilly to very cold in NE Oklahoma 4-5 months out of the year - not like LA or Orlando. Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN is about the same latitude and is completely closed in the winter for 2 months out of the year. I think this park would do better outside a city like Houston with a warmer year around climate, much closer & larger metro area, and other metro areas (DFW) 3 hours away.

@@highway2heaven91 Earthquakes are rare and hurricanes give you plenty of warning, not so with tornadoes. Imagine a park full of people and a tornado is 10 mins away.

@@pedrofernandez8729 Most tornadoes (especially ones in the daytime) can give you plenty of warning and I’m pretty sure that this park will have sirens. Also Earthquakes give no warning and the Big One is supposed to hit Southern California within the next few years. Hurricanes do give you a lot of warning but their damage is far more widespread l, and if it’s strong enough, can easily shut down a city for a few months or more.

@@highway2heaven91 Disney has been there since the early 70's and has survived multiple hurricanes with minimal damage, I"ve seen videos of tornado aftermath, and nothing is left but destruction. Maybe they'll luck out and get zero tornadoes, but you gotta convince the investors of that.

The thing about global warming is that it's not gonna just go away. It's actually gonna get worse with more tornadoes and floods and heat waves. Correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't that part of the country known as "Tornado Alley".??

The heart of Tornado Alley is well to the west of the area. Alabama and Mississippi get more tornadoes than this area.
