Get her little hoofers some dog shoes. They're little rubbery like pieces that go over their feet. She won't slip and it'll help her get used to the floors until she's older n can navigate them better. She'll get used to them eventually.(The floors) Don't jump the gun, it's only the first day. Pigs are soooo damn smart. This is going to be some BIG fun for you! Also, it'd be rough knowing my partners mom watched a video of me talking about us having sex. Hey i was sitting here watching this video and it honestly makes me so happy that you got sugar. I know how happy you are because i do the same thing . i am a highschool student and in 2014 i raised my 1st goat her name was jumper and she was the only goat i had, my suggestion is to not get only one because they get lonely and sometimes it can make them sick. then the next four years to now i have raised 14 pigs with my siblings and 4 chickens by myself. i am happy that i have the ability to raise these animals because i have learned so much about these animals. i have people that are in my life that joke me because i raise "gross" animals but i love them dearly. i would love to see you grow your farm because it makes me happy that there are inspiring youtubers that do things that i love to do.

My family and I have had our potbelly pig for almost 10 years now (he's almost 10) and we had to basically toddler proof our house but ever since those first few weeks he's had free reign of our downstairs (we had to teach him not to go upstairs since it isn't healthy for their little legs to go up and down stairs often and to go outside we built a small ramp so he wouldn't have to go down stairs) and a big fenced in area outside. He HATES the cold/winter but in the warm months he spends almost all his time outside. Owning a pig is something a lot of people aren't really prepared for because they are so smart so if you have any questions feel free to message and ask me!

Yes!!!!!! I love her!!! And I’m sure you’ll figure everything to make her comfy. That pasture and barn looks super nice. I don’t know much about pigs yet but I’ve seen stuff online where they live cozy outside but they can still be pets and come in hang on the porch and go inside visit the human house etc. I’m sure the fencing would need to rigged up to accommodate that but I am totally rooting for your farm idea!!! 😊 you have to name your farm though. “Megfin farm” or “sunshine acres” or Idk something that describes the future famfarm. And as far as her hightailing It down the road, our pug Hossiendo does that. He forgets all commands and runs 😂 so I have to keep a super close eye on him. He’s not as good as Larry , he will stick to Larry if Larry is around but alone... it’s pugs gone wild

Yah sunshine acres or something along that goes with your existing theme. Also random but I’ve had my own drama with Bc , so my body was hating hormones and pushes things out(including piercings I can’t keep them in long!) anyway I am a late bloomer and just recently learned that apparently you can only get pregnant 6-7ish days out of a cycle! The egg lives for 12-24 hours and the sperm can survive for 5 days. So the rest of the cycle it’s impossible . So I ordered a DAYSY thing a few weeks ago, it tracks your cycle for you, ( I can’t be responsible enough to write it down myself) it takes a few months to learn it, but it takes the tracking out of it. I just take my temp every morning and press a button if on my period and eventually it will predict ovulation and so we won’t have to worry about pulling out or condoms unless it’s the 6-7days that consist of the pre ovulation and /ovulation day. I’m sure there’s other apps and things too.

Hi pls try to adopt from a local shelter or rescue Craigslist is so sketchy years ago I bought my first dog from a breeder on Craigslist and when I took him to the vet they told me that he was 5 weeks old (wayyyyy too young to be away from his mom and litter mates) and the breeder told me he was 8 weeks. I felt soooo bad taking him away from his family so early. He has had a lot of anxiety issues every since I brought him home and I think it’s for that reason. The vet also told me he had a scab on the end of his tail (he has a little stumpy tail) and they believe the breeder cut it off and cauterized it themselves :((((( now I work at my local humane society and I would never buy a dog ever again Craigslist breeders just do it for the money they don’t care about the puppies at all they’re basically puppy mills

Also if youre willing to travel to Portland, the Fred Meyers has an event called Fuschia Saturday where a lot of the plants, planters and general garden shenanigans are on amazing sale and they will fill up to 6 large pots full of soil and even plant flowers and such for you :) its an event that happens once a year but its amazing for people who love gardening

I know that she came from a farm, which might just be a place that raises farm animals so that they can live their life and be free and not used for their secretions or killed for meat, but I'm sure some people get those pigs just to kill them for their flesh :(. For your slipping problem- maybe consider getting some rugs? My dog has the same problem because his joints are messed up due to his old age. We got him a lot of rugs and laid them out so he could move about the house and it really helped him.
