Here is the breakdown of the defense they quit mentally check out After forcing Packers to punt on their 2nd drive with score 7-0 dak stated by his teammates panics nice way of saying choked under pressure throws a interception then the defense said here goes dak again having flash backs to 49ers playoff game when they held 49ers to 16 points and dak gave game away and Micah and after game was done with dak had not faith belief or respect for him . Just QUIT mentally checked out gave up knew game was over .

That whip route by Brandon Cooks on Daks first INT was absolutely one of the worst whip routes I have ever seen ran in the NFL! First of all, whip routes are not supposed to be ran that far down field. Whip routes are run at the LOS, Brandon was supposed to make it look like he is running a drag route and then cuts back which makes it a whip route.

Great analysis. Dak had like 2 or 3 bad throws. But the majority of the offensive issues this day came from WRs running bad routes and Dak pressing the issue to them. Would help tremendously if Dallas had a solid run game to keep the packers' defense in check. Also would have helped if Dallas' defense actually showed up for this playoff game.

It's pretty simple: They looked down on GB and arrogantly they thought it would be an easy match. Just read the radicalism of some of the Dallas fans before the game. Dak Prescott is a good QB in the regular season (Some people would say OVERRATED), but in the playoffs him fades and GB managed to get their 3 HOF QB in a row.

Jaire Alexander's interception was within 5 years of the line of scrimmage. They will allow hand checks and hand fighting and physical contact within the 5 yd margin. It would be ticky-tachy for a ref to call. I've seen estimates that it would have been called less than 10% of the time.

Dak misses Amari Cooper and Dalton Shultz, although Ferguson played well this year, might be a better player than Shultz. Dak needs that one guy who's always open and he needs a little better protection in the middle.

Defense was awful. Dak was awful. Special teams was awful... I guess I understand ripping McCarthy for not having his team mentally ready & aggressive coming in, but you can see here a lot of the plays were open... Dak was leaving the pocket early & giving up on routes too quickly all game... The even bigger issue was the defense. Struggled against motion all season & LaFleur exposed it. Still think this coaching staff is really good & believe in Dak, but they simply laid an egg (for the 3rd year in a row postseason). To me the biggest issue isn't scheme or anything like that... it's playing way too tight when playoffs arrive. Have to find a way to loosen them up or get some rhythm early to break the ice.

What went wrong is that the Cowboys have a mental block. They were beaten the second the packers went down and scored. That's why it is literally nuts to think bringing MM back is the way to go. He's 1-3 in the playoffs as Cowboys coach. He's going to have the same QB. In all 3 losses, MM has shown zero innovation...no new wrinkles..no adjustments. The Pick 6 Dak threw is literally a repeat of the interception from the same formation against the 49ers the year before. The cowboys need a culture change. Basically, someone who will tell Jerry to shut the hell up and just sign the checks. We're stuck with Dak.... and if Dak is making dumb mistakes like not throwing the ball away at this point, he's never learning.

I watched the first 3 plays of game and turned it off. You just knew this was not good. Then when Dak comes in like deer in headlights gave these young packer players jumped on it. Analyze the defense also. Even if Dak was on top of his game, he would have had to match Love score for score. It's likely they still would have lost when they only made the Packers punt once or twice. Also, the first interception was not a pick six. He was down by contact. This is prime reason why I think GB’s defense is not very good. They looked good only because Dak was off with his receivers all game but also because Dak missed so many opportunities for big chunk plays in their passing game. So many times throughout the video you see a receiver open but Dak just misses them for whatever reason. Like, that Jaire Alexander INT, idk wtf Dak thought he saw. He had NO business throwing it to Cooks on that shitty route when Lamb was open on that route to the side line. Should’ve been an easy play but just terrible decisions like that all afternoon. No, YOU SEE a receiver wide open. You don't know who the primary receiver is nor do you see the a ction from ground level. All these videos are shot from above. Of course we're going to see "open" receivers. But when a qb takes a snap and sees rushers, crossers, etc, the view is TOTALLY different.

I think Jerry Jones is the problem with the Cowboys. He's the common denominator for all of the failure. Too bad he's so narcissistic that he doesn't realize that an owner-GM, who micromanages his team, is not a good recipe for success in the NFL.
