a Very memorable magician. I am in the UK, and saw him maybe once, or twice on our TV over here, he did his cigarette act. Even though I only saw him do that once, or twice many years ago, I still remember it vividly. I found the video on KZbin half an hour ago, and then found out he passed away. sad news. Genius.

Will always love and miss Tom. He reminds me exactly of my grandpa who had passed away when I was much much younger. His presentation is so beautiful and funny. the torn and restored bill always killed me. I have no doubt he would try and drag the trick out as long as possible. I remember him offering it back and presenting a folded bill in a rat trap. The drink on wheels, all his little gimmicks.

Total class act Mr. Mullica, That's back when comedy was funny. In '84 I was 19 and trying to break into comedy. I studied my ass off, but there was so much really good talent in the 80's that I couldn't get out of the bars. Oh well, I had fun. I remember you, that smoking trick was hardcore! I hope it's not causing you issues now. Sir, I'm sure you had your reasons for leaving, but could you maybe find a reason to come back? I saw you on TV, I'd like the opportunity to see you live. Never hurts to ask, right? Hey, I hope you are selling tons of The Walsh Rabbit! Tack care Mr. Mullica

+Brannagan O'Brannagan well written comment in 84 i was even born yet and its crazy how you say you were 19 at that time i,m 20 now in 2015 i just found out about this guy like 40 mins ago cause of that cigarette trick ...its amazing to see him in his prime somebody will see him in the streets and think he is a regular guy but in reality he was a celebrity back then he was a entertainer he has seen things did things a regular person will never do in there lifetimes,he was the nightlife i wish this guy was a huge success and well known guy in this age of time ...i wasn't born in that era like you but even i can in a way feel the good times in that era,the well put together COMEDY actual comedy and wish those moments happened now in this mainstream life we have now.i don't think tom writes back and comments on his comments but i wish he did

I worked for him then. He was blowing 'Smoke Rings' hence Smoke Signals. I remember, once a week having to shop and buy some of the props he used each night... Specifically, "RED Delicious" apples. One week, I was running late because the first store was sold out of RDA's, due to a some issue so, I bought Granny Smith's.... Tom told me to go to the office, get on the phone and have a dozen Red Delicious Apples through those front doors by 6:59 PM. Or, I would be fired and, out the front doors by 1100:01 Hours ZULU. (Military/ Greenich Mean Time or, UTC. ( Universal Time Coordinated.) My sister saved me by arriving by 1057:00 ZULU!!
