What Wheels Did I Buy For My 2019 Subaru WRX STI?

I finally bought new wheels for my 2019 Subaru WRX STI. The stock wheels are very hard to clean and very heavy. These new Titan 7 T-S5 forged wheels weigh only 18.3 pounds each! In this video I show the wheel and everything that I got with it.
The stock STI wheels and tires are about 55 pounds each. The new Titan wheels and tires will be about 45 pounds each. This is a big weight savings for each wheel!

It’s amazing how you can fit it in there. The rear seat folding flat was the only way!! Problem with most sedan is they don’t fold flat enough. Good looking wheels!!!! 👍

I love how much I can fit in the car! I was able to get all the stock 19" wheels with tires on them back home with no problem!

You could say the same thing about gold, bronze and gunmetal. I detest black wheels (on any color car), they have no personality and hide the design regardless of finish (gloss, matte, etc.)

i got to the point where you could of flipped the boxes on the side and literally made all 4 fit across the back seat. then I thought he wants to lay then flat then you put the one in the front on its side.

LOL Yep, you watched me figure it out for the first time in real time! The new wheels are awesome. Very glad I got them. They make the car feel lighter, the ride is better with the 18" tires and everywhere I go someone compliments me on them!

I got new tires on my car yesterday. The guy at the store fat-fingered the size he was entering into the computer after inspecting one of my tires to get the size. So instead of getting 235/35/19 I got 235/45/19. I did not notice it until I got home when I was doing my checkout on the tires. I called the tire place and they said there shouldn't be any problems.

Wow, we got tires almost the same day! is your tire rubbing against the body at all? What brand tire did you get?

@@CarStory I got all season Uniroyal tires. My stock tires have 33,000 miles and they are on the way to not being able to pass state inspection. I am still monitoring for any rubbing. I have no heard anything when making big turns like pulling into my driveway.

@@smashing_data4292 I think the 45 sidewall may have changed the diameter of your wheel slightly. Are you able to test your speedometer against a GPS to see if it's still accurate?

@@CarStory I was asking the people at the tire place about that. They said there will be a minimum impact. The difference in the diameter is 0.78 inches. I will do some testing this weekend to see what the speed difference is going to be between GPS and my speedometer.
