What, Why, & How?? -Photoshop CC Droplets

This is great! I bought photoshop last year to handle Canon raw files. First time I've had the program in about 20 years. I fired it up earlier to look for a watermark option so I'm not manually copying and pasting my watermark onto any image I post online. That's when I noticed droplet and since I had never heard about it before, I went in search of answers. Now I can finally edit the tons of pictures I took on vacation last summer without feeling overwhelmed by doing it one by one.

Like many other videos, you don't go much into "file naming" and all the intricate ways to fill these fields (10 of them) Are they all needed?. They want 'Document' Name, "Extension" and what not but I can't make sense of what is really required. Else this is a nice tutorial, Thanx

Is it possible to create a droplet with mockup ? so I'll drop a folder of textures onto it and it will generate mockup versions for each texture ?

hello, I wanted to ask you a question that I can't solve: I'm preparing a droplet that first resizes the files and then inserts a banner (which I have precisely sized to size and saved in a specific folder) and then overwrite everything in the same folder source .... once created the action with resizing, adding banner and saving, at the start of the droplet I never insert the banner but only resize the files. why am i wrong something?

I am getting an error saying "Droplet couldn't communicate with Photoshop." I don't think I've made any error during the creation of my droplet, I double checked. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

ha ha, 8 y ago! I hope it's ok now. They say to run both droplet and PS... with administrator right. Also compatibility if applicable

A bit more convenient than using Image Processor via Bridge, almost like Image Processor presets I guess.
