A lovely round played. It's always nice to see someone who knows what they're doing on the golf course.😉And there's still a lot of potential in you... A business friend regularly invites me to play a round on this course. The great thing about it is that you really don't have to be a long hitter to play a good round here. It's more important to hold your line and hit the fairways and greens (IR). I actually like to play the course without a driver. The last time I played here was a few months ago. My result was +1 because of a stupid 3-putt on the 18th🤐, but I've been invited again in just under 2 weeks for my birthday and I'm hoping to make the round under par then. I'm really looking forward to it.😃 By the way...having watched your channel and your game for the 1st time today, I'd be really interested to know how you cope with The Cascades Golf Course in Soma Bay (Egypt), also known as the Pebble Beach of Africa....😉...in my opinion one of the best I've ever played.

Cheers mate. Yeah love the putter, I think I’m about 4 weeks in with it now. If I get the pace right I’m pretty confident it will be scaring the hole most of the time. Expensive though 👀

1st hole should of taken a provisional, or it would be your 4th from the drop, can’t just drop a ball in the fairway and say it’s your third 😂

Actually, since there are no outbound stakes anywhere on the course it is a local rule that you take lateral relief if you lose your ball in the vegetation either side of the hole. If this wasn’t the rule I would’ve course have played a provisional from the tee box

But you literally said after you hit it that it’s gone, so you should of hit another off the tee?

The point of the rule is to actually keep pace of play up. They don’t want people reloading on the tee box five times. I don’t make the rules, I just follow them. To be honest, I would be so up for this being a rule at all courses, slow play is just dead ☠️
